There were 7 of us girls who came here for a bachelorette weekend and it went off without a hitch. The house was clean, in a great location, and at a great price. We lounged by the pool and when we went out to eat, downtown was only a 5min drive away. We had a great time and will definitely be going back! oh and we got our damage deposit back almost immediately.....

Our family has been rendezvousing at Sun Villa for five years and we love it! Great central Palm Springs location, quiet neighborhood, private. The house is well-kept with all the amenities, including secure wireless. We especially enjoy swimming in the salt water pool, relaxing in the hot tub and just hanging out in the comfortable and picturesque courtyard. The view through the palm trees to the mountains is stunning. Ron is a delight to work with and readily available if anything comes up. We enjoy desert hiking and there are many hikes within walking distance or a short drive from Sun Villa. I highly recommend Sun Villa as a vacation rental.

We just spent 3 nights at Sun Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the property and all its amenities. Ron has outfitted the home with practically everything you could imagine to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cool but that didn't stop us from making extensive use of the pool - still comfortably warm despite the 59 degree air temp. At night you can sit in the hot tub and stare up at the lodge lights at the very top of the tram. The interior of the home is extremely clean and well maintained and the landscaping is perfectly manicured. Only word of caution is some of the decor is not very kid friendly (think large glass vases), but we just stowed those in a closet for the duration of our stay to avoid any accidents. We would definitely consider returning - hopefully to more typical Palm Springs sunshine.

We stayed at Sun Villa for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our stay was fantastic. The home is tastefully decorated and very clean. It is just like the pictures shown on the website. It has all the amenities listed on the website and we were very pleased. We enjoyed using the gas fireplace in the evenings as well as the wonderful Jacuzzi. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking meals and plenty of dishes and silver wear. We cooked all our meals at the house and the kitchen is well designed. The refrigerator has filtered water and an ice dispenser, which we were grateful for. The outside patio has lots of seating. The large pool is very nice and you have the option to heat it (which was worth the extra charge for this time of year.) We used it every day. The garden and pool area is well manicured and has a great mountain view. It was like an oasis with all the pretty plants and palm trees. Our family of 4 (2 adults and a 13 and 17 year old) and our friend’s family of 4 (2 adults and a 11 and 14 years old) were very comfortable in this home. The 4 bedrooms and 3 baths worked perfectly for the amount of people and the beds were comfy. There were plenty of towels for all of us. The laundry off the kitchen was convenient for washing our clothes and towels. The home is in a good location. It is close to downtown shopping and there are 2 grocery stores, a pharmacy, a bank and a Trader Joe's in very close proximity. There are tons of restaurants around but we did not dine out. It is a short drive to hiking trails and parks. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and well maintained. The home has a large driveway with lots of parking and was gated and locked so we felt secure at night. While we were visiting we went up the mountain on the gondola one day and spent a lovely time on the top of the mountain. It was a beautiful view from on top & there are some pretty hikes you can take as well as play in the snow. We really enjoyed it. Admission is a bit pricey but well worth it if you spend the time to hike around and take pictures. We also went to old town and walked down the sidewalks & window shopped. It was fun reading the stars on the sidewalks like in Hollywood. The (modern) Art Museum was interesting too and free on Thursdays. The owners were very nice and accommodating & took pride in their home. We will recommend Sun Villa to our friends. We will definitely be back again! Thanks for the hospitality.

This home is very well appointed and very clean.....Lots of room, our group of 5 were very comfortable....the yard and pool is like shangri la!!!!!! After a day on the golf course cocktails in front of the beautiful fireplace finished our day before dinner....within a cab ride to all the great restaurants!!!!!The location is perfect.!!!!!!.....Lots of great golf courses near by.....We all had tons of fun and hopefully will be back again next year...Ron you were a pleasure to deal with thank you from all of us..OLE!!!!!!! Amazing Honeymoon!

We stayed here for the week after our wedding, and it was wonderful! Ron was great, he was there right when we showed up, and gave us a tour letting us know where everything was. The house is fully stocked with just about everything you need. Everything was clean, and the grounds were beautifully manicured. We had the most relaxing time, the pool and jacuzzi were great also. I think the only one who had a better time than us was our dog! Because the grounds are completely gated in, we could have our dog run around all day, it was excellent. We went to the nearest Costco to get loaded up on food, and we cooked and drank all week. We will definitely be returning next year!

I have rented a few house through vrbo before and while the others were okay this place was amazing! It is a true gem! It was spotless, roomy, organized, and tasteful. Upon arrival to our Family Summer Vacation Rental Home we were greeted by the owner, a very friendly, helpful and kind gentleman who took the time to show us everything. As he gave us a tour of his home we were taken back by the beauty of the large welcoming pool, lanai, and beautifully landscaped yard. The interior of the home is tastefully decorated, comfortable and accomodated all our needs and wants. The home is located in the middle of all your shopping needs and wants, very easy to get to and find. A residential area that understands and respects privacy and beautiful upkeep. The home is completely private with a fence surrounding it and has a security gate. It has a beautiful view of the mountain, and the sunsets in the evening while lounging in the pool or yard at night are so tranquil with its lights shining on the palm trees and cactus to give such a relaxing setting. This truly was Paradise for our family of five for the month that it was very hard to say good bye, but could never imagine going anywhere else and are already planning our next visit back!!

My family and I spent a week at this house for the second year in a row - it is extremely relaxing and very private. We played games, cooked out on the grill and played in the pool for the whole week. The house is fantastic and has every amenity you would need and more! The pool is very big, and the area around the pool has many different areas to hang out at, so we could be together when we wanted to, and be separate when we needed to be. My friends and i came down from canada to enjoy some beautiful weather,good golf and great times with the boys.Originally it was supposed to be all about the golf but quickly after checking in and seeing the house it seemed golf was secondary.We all agreed the property and the laughs we had lounging around the pool were the highlight of our trip.The propety was super clean and well maintained and the photos were very accurate.The owner ron was very accomodating and a friendly man to deal with, who himself may have missed a flight waiting for us to get off a golf course before check in.All in all a wonderful experience and GREAT TIME,would definetly return.Thanks ron

I can't give a stronger recommendation for this home. The beds were comfortable, the house was in pristine condition, and the accommodations were spectacular. The house is in a nice neighborhood with complete privacy but is conveniently located near grocery stores for picking up supplies. The owner Ron is incredibly nice and communicative - I felt comfortable and relaxed our whole weekend stay. I will definitely try to book this home again next time I am in Palm Springs - I couldn't have been happier with it.

Thanks again Ron for sharing your beautiful and relaxing Palm Springs home. This was the third spring break that we have spent at Sun Villa, and my children now refer to your house as "our spring break desert house." A couple of cousins came by for a visit this year and we all had fun playing "Marco Pollo" in the pool and eating barbeque hamburgers for lunch on the patio. A few hours before our departure, I took a walk down San Lorenzo Rd. among the beautiful homes of the neighborhood and towards those glorious mountains. The temperature was 82 degrees, a gentle breeze was causing the palm trees rustle ever so lightly, people were riding their bikes, and children were laughing and splashing in the neighborhood pools. A variation of the line from the movie "Field of Dreams" came into my mind, "Is this heaven? No it's Palm Springs."

My wife summed it up nicely when she said that this was the best property that we have stayed in during our 10 years of vacationing in the US. The owner, Ron, was so polite and gave us a full tour of the property on our arrival. He even came back to the house to help me when I had a problem with my GPS which was fantastic - thanks again Ron. The property has everything that you need to enjoy your stay including a well stocked kitchen, pool and bath towels plus inflatables for the pool! Both the pool and garden were regularly cleaned during our stay. The neighbourhood is quiet but close to the centre of town. The wall surrounding the property gives complete privacy and you are not overlooked. The views of the mountains are outstanding especially at sunrise & sunset. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

Dear Ron, Well this was our second trip back to your beautiful home. We just got home and already we can't wait for our trip back next year. We were here for 3 nights and we never left! Simply put, this is a great house at a great price. Let’s do the math. The average rate for two decent hotel rooms for a party of six would have to be at least $250.00/night. Now add the conservative estimate of $240.00/day to cover the cost of six people dining out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For considerably less, the Sun Villa offers a spacious well appointed home with four seperate bedrooms and a private pool. I even prepared a pizza from scratch in the amply equipped kitchen. We then went out to the patio and dined poolside overlooking the beautiful cactus garden.

Perfect, private and quiet. We were looking for this kind of break and we found it. The only thing we would have changed is the length of our stay; ten days wasn't quite enough. The house and grounds are beautiful night and day and to wake up each morning to a welcoming pool and relaxing hot tub is pure heaven. My husband and I invited my parents and sister to join us in Palm Springs for a week to celebrate a few of our birthdays... this was our second stay at Sun Villa, after a long weekend last fall when we rented the house with some friends. On both visits, everything was perfect -- a beautiful home, so well appointed, in a great location. The pool and spa are divine -- and when the gate is closed and you're floating in the sunshine, you feel completely away from it all. The kitchen in particular has absolutely everything you need -- right down to a discount card for the Ralph's nearby. The owners truly have thought of everything! We'll be back again, no doubt at all.

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We arrived just in time for the chilliest weather in Palm Springs in 25 years and still loved Ron's immaculate home. We sat by the roaring fire and enjoyed the hot tub in the pounding rain. When the sun broke out we were all thrilled to have the beautiful pool right at our doorstep. What a relaxing week! Thanks again Ron and Carmen.

This was my second time to enjoy Ron's beautiful home and definitely won't be my last. It's the perfect spot to relax and do absolutely nothing but sit by the pool or just a few minutes from excellent shopping facilities.

We have been returning to this lovely home for 4 years. Always comfortable and well kept with a nice central location. We love the salt water pool and private pool deck area. Nice views of the mountains and within walking distance of some of our favorite hikes. Ron is very helpful and easy to work with on arrangements, etc. We look forward to returning next year... and have already made our reservations!

This is the 4th year we have stayed at Ron's house and the fact that we keep coming back says it all! It has a great location with a private enclosed pool and outdoor space. We love the salt water pool on warm days and the hot tub and gas fireplace during the cool evenings. Ron is attentive to detail and always makes sure our visit is a friendly and comfortable experience. We rate this house AAA+++!

Great house with an excellent location. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and the indoor fireplace. The house comfortably accommodated 3 couples and children. As frequent visitors to Palm Springs, this was one of the best houses we have rented. Hope to stay here again!

Sun Villa was the perfect place for my family to spend the holiday! We have rented other vacation homes but none so well maintained and 'user friendly' as this. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful mini-compound.
