The house was beautiful, clean, newly updated well taken care of and much thought put into making your stay comfortable.Crabbing on the canal was one of the highlights for my family (all adults). They kayaked and fished, no catches but fun anyway because you can! Peaceful to sit on the deck and drink morning coffee. Short walk to beach.Loved riding bikes with all the bike lanes in Bethany beach. Thank you Joe and Mindy for making our vacation one to remember fondly. Robin and Jan Grindrod

We really enjoyed our stay at Canal View. We kayaked and crabbed in the canal every other day and with just a short stroll to the beach and boardwalk, the location was ideal. The house is well appointed (like a model home) and the kitchen well stocked. The screened in porch right on the canal was our favorite room. The owners are friendly and helpful. They were always available for questions prior to our trip, and wanted to make sure that we had a good time while we were at their home. Everything we needed was within reasonable proximity of the house; grocery stores, shopping outlets, great restaurants, boardwalks, beaches...you name it! I highly recommend Canal View

We just returned from a wonderful week at this house. It was an excellent place to stay for our family. We enjoyed being at the end of the dead end street so our daughter could run and play. The house is beautiful, clean, roomy, and nicely decorated. It had everything we could want/need. We'll definitely be returning to Canal View in the future. The beach was a short walk, but because of our toddler we drove and never had trouble with parking...it was no hassle at all! Thanks again!

Our family had wonderful time! The house was perfect for us. The proximity to the beach and to shopping was great. It was a short 10 minute walk to the beach and the little shops. The canal behind the house was excellent for budding fishermen. We saw crabs and jellyfish in the canal. The neighborhood was quiet. We hardly saw the next door neighbors. The house was clean and airy and full of natural sunlight in the morning. The surroundings were very peaceful and welcoming. We thought that we wanted to be right on the beach but after staying there for a week, we've changed our minds. We look forward to returning again next summer.
