Sandy Paws is ideal for pets and their human companions. It is one of the most convenient rentals we have ever stayed in. All the amenities of home, new construction, clean, utilities and entertainment features in the house equal to those we have at home, location close to shopping and the beaches, right across the road from a very fine restaurant called the Captain's Table, and lots of grassy areas nearby to walk and play with the pets. Couldn't ask for any more than Sandy Paws offers.

Relaxing Vacation

Sandy Paws was a much needed vacation. The location in PERFECT! Close to the Beach, Dining, nearby attractions. I am a neat freak. Sandy Paws was immaculate. You would never think it was a "pet friendly" home. It has everything you as well as our dogs need!! We have stayed in oceanfront 12 bedroom homes in OBX that were decorated as beautiful as Sandy Paws, without the 15K weekly expense!! Close to beach. Great area behind house on local NON busy street to walk your dogs. Will be our yearly vacation spot. Can't say enough wonderful things about this wonderful home!! It made our vacation a vacation!!

What a great weekend! "Sandy Paws" is a wonderful place to stay in Dewey. We had a great "Black Friday" weekend shopping and eating. The location was excellent & clean & well-maintained. The photos are accurate! I think we must be the only ones who didn't bring dogs; but would never have known people bring them. . .everything was clean & spotless. Thanks to the owners for renting this great property. I will recommend it to everyone!

We had a wonderful time at Sandy Paws. The cottage is located within a short four and a half block walk to the beach. There are many restaurants within a few minute drive. The cottage was clean, well maintained and comfortable. We went to several of the restaurants that Donna recommended. Our favorite restaurant was the Pig and Fish in Rehobeth Beach. My daughter's dog, Carson also enjoyed staying at Sandy Paws. There is a great neighborhood behind the cottage to walk dogs. We look forward to returning to Sandy Paws sometime in the future.

We had the BEST beach vacation during our stay @ Sandy Paws. We found the house to be just as we anticipated it would be, according to the description given. It is clean and nicely decorated - 'beachy' and felt just like 'home away from home'. We greatly appreciated all the special attention that was given in preparing for our four-legged friend - from the awaiting treats and doggy toys galore, to the special doggy-bed adjacent to the bed in the master b/r..The beautiful tile throughout the house allowed us the opportunity to enjoy the beach & not have to worry about tracking sand in. The beaches and attractions at both Dewey & Rehoboth are easily accessible from the property. From the initial inquiry regarding renting Sandy Paws to present, the owner was readily available to answer any and all questions and went above and beyond in order to make our vacation the best that it could be. We would HIGHLY recommend Sandy Paws and look forward to staying again! If you decide to go, we would definately recommend the Fractured Prune for some GREAT homemade hand-dipped fresh donuts! YUMMY! - located just north off of Coastal Highway in Rehoboth! R.W. August 2010 ~

We had a wonderful time at Sandy Paws. The house is set up nicely for our two Boxers...and the humans too! Plenty of space for everyone to strecth out and since the bedrooms are on the second floor, nap-time was always possible for our two children. The beach is close in proximity, maybe a 10 minute walk. There is a deli close by that carries the bare essentials if you run out of something, so we never went to the market after our initial visit. All in all we had a great time, our dogs loved the beach and had no problem sleeping off the day after their morning excursion. We look forward to visiting Sandy Paws again in the near future.

Immaculate Property and owner thought of everything!

This beach house was great! It was very clean, decorated very cute, and the owner thought of everything. The only thing you really have to bringwas sheets and towels! It saved us room in our car. She had a full stocked kitchen equipped with every type of kitchen gadget available. She was very easy to work with and left great directions for every type of situation you may encounter on your trip. The parking pass was great if we didn't want to walk to the beach. I would high hecommend this beach house to anyone wanting to stay at a great place in Dewey

My daughter, dogs and I spent two weeks at this house and it was amazing! It was a great location for both Rehoboth and Dewey as well as a quick walk to the beach. The house is extremely dog friendly and has a wonderful decor.

I've been coming to Dewey every fall since 2005, and this was *by far* the most pleasant experience I've had. Donna is so helpful and easy to deal with. The house is beyond cute and so dog friendly. My pups and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Sandy Paws, and we look forward to future visits.

Our stay at Sandy Paws exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the design contributed to our relaxation. We enjoyed morning walks with our dog into Dewey and along Silver Lake into Rehoboth. The walk the beach was no sweat - we did appreciate the Dewey Parking Pass to drive our gear to the beach. The neighbors in the surrounding houses were respectful and friendly. The house is so clean and pristine and a great place for anyone with our without a dog! If you take your dog, it will be treated like royalty at Sandy Paws!

We stayed at this place this past week. The location is central to everything (outlets, beach, etc). The house is beautifully decorated and the owners are super nice. They went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed the week (i.e. left us a parking pass for the town of rehoboth, provided lists of good restaurants to enjoy, etc). They were definitely great people to rent from. I would absolutely stay there again.
