Located off Main Road in a quiet spot in the Historical District of Westport Point, our Cape-style house has a lovely view of the west branch of the Westport River, as well as access to the water for putting in canoes and kayaks. It is down a private lane far enough to be well away from the road, but is still just a five minute walk to the Point docks.
The house sits on a little rise and is surrounded by a pleasant garden. It was built for year-round living and is exceptionally well equipped for comfort and relaxation. It has a newly refurbished kitchen and a pleasant deck with a lovely view of the river.
Horseneck Beach is a five minute drive or a 10 minute bike ride, and Lee's market is also 10 minutes away by car. For bicyclists, country roads stretch off for miles in every direction. For kayakers, the two branches of the Westport River, easily reached from the house, offer vast reaches of estuary to explore with all its wildlife and its special spots for swimming, well away from the crowds.
This is the ideal setting for an active but relaxing vacation.
