Formerly a working cattle ranch, this 300 acre property is just as private and exclusive as it is beautiful. Once you pass through the gates you won’t see a soul, unless you invite them over for a game of horseshoes. The mile-long driveway leads to the Ranch House, a 4,500-square-foot edifice set in the middle of rolling ranch land. 100 year-old cottonwoods stand guard over this pastoral castle. The sun rises over a quaint pond and sets over seven of the Cascade's most picturesque peaks. Experience the flavor of the Old Wild West from the comfort of a designer homestead. Denim and boots are required getup but hats off during dinner.
Our two ponds are brimming with Bass and Crappie, which means you will do more "catching" than fishing. Fly fishing lessons can be arranged to help you master your cast before tackling Central Oregon's wild rivers, renown for their trout and steelhead.* If fishing isn’t your idea of a good time then just sit back, relax and enjoy the sun while the others do all the work.
Entertaining good friends or just treating yourself right is made easy at the Triple D Ranch. Epicurean delights can be delivered to your door by the area's top chefs.* Our professionally appointed gourmet kitchen is perfect for cooking demonstrations or wine tastings. Create an evening of magic by hosting an intimate, catered dinner party in the dining room. Your imagination is the only limitation.
The Great Room is the place to relax and watch the fire crackle or to catch the latest blockbuster. This room hosts an expansive view of hay fields, Ponderosa pine forests and wildlife including hawks, eagles, osprey, geese, ducks, deer, sometimes elk and the elusive wild turkey. Inside the Great Room you will find stuffed badger, lynx, duck, goose and a coyote pelt or two.
The Billiard Room (not pictured) boasts billiards, checkers, poker or just kickin’ back. Late nights are welcome, not forbidden at the Triple D Ranch.
The Bedrooms (See photos by clicking on the "Additional Photos" link at the bottom of the page)
BIG VALLEY. This room would have been the respite of Victoria Barkley. Featuring a king bed with fireplace and deck. Big Valley faces east and looks out over the pond. Make sure to catch the sunrise at least once during your stay!
RAWHIDE. Here you would have found Clint Eastwood and the drovers after finishing their cattle drive. Queen cowhide bed with a view-deck to catch great mountain sunsets.
GUNSMOKE. If you're timing was right, you might have caught Marshall Dillon visiting Miss Kitty in this room. Intimate space with a private deck nestled in the cottonwoods. Perfect for watching the ranch awaken, especially wildlife thirsty for a drink.
BONANZA. Hoss would have claimed this room. Queen Ponderosa Pine bed and sofa for relaxing, putting on your boots or just admiring the sunset.
BUNK ROOM. Not pictured. Located on the first floor with 6 bunks for the rest of the gang. This room has a bathroom across the hall and a full shower/bath near the kitchen.
All bedding is hypo-allergenic down. Each bedroom has bathroom accommodations.
Privacy and exclusivity are our trademark.

This is a terrific place for gatherings of all types - intimate interludes, small get-togethers or large-group events. There is so much to do and so much to see - for people of all ages. We all wanted to move in so we could be a part of it all. The description and the photos are accurate, the property is beautifully maintained - inside and out, the owner is very helpful and excited for others to enjoy the property. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. (And, there is lots do to nearby, but there's really no reason to leave!)

We just spent the weekend and it was the BEST. The pictures here don't do justice to the house and the property, and they don't even begin to describe the experience I had. The house is gorgeous and yet comfortable. The property is immaculate, and I'm totally fascinated by the chicken coop. I had a blast exploring the trails during my morning walks. What made my experience so outstanding were the people. I met the caretaker after my walk Saturday morning. He was friendly, helpful, and seemed to really care that we were having a good time. Then, when we left I forgot a pair of earrings my husband had given me as a gift years before. (I'm a sentimental sap.) As soon as I realized what I'd done, I frantically e-mailed the owner. She got back to me right away, and told me she'd asked the house cleaner and caretaker to check where I thought I'd left the earrings. They found my earrings! I talked to the house cleaner and made arrangements to have them sent back to me, and we had a really nice chat. The next day, the owner called to make sure that things were all good. To be honest, I'd written off ever seeing my earrings again. I haven't had the best luck when it comes to losing things. I can't really express how impressed and thankful I am for everybody's willingness to drop everything to help me out (after I was a total ditz), and for everybody's honesty and character through this whole thing. I completely planned on figuring out a reason to stay at Triple D Ranch again. It's an amazing place. Now I know why. It's run by amazing people. Thank you!!! (PS I know everybody's name, but I'm not supposed to include personally identifiable info here. Thank you J, P, and C.)

What a marvelous home to get away to! From the moment we arrived to the moment that we left was like being in paradise. Peg was such a delight to work with and the property was beyond our expectations! Having dinner out on the patio under a huge tree with a lovely glass of wine made you think of being in Italy! We had a hard time packing up to leave - everyone had a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back for another visit. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us.

My husband and I spent a week at the Triple D in July with our immediate and extended families. We couldn't believe how special and beautiful the property was! We'll be back the first chance we get! There is nothing better than enjoying the beach at the pond in the evening while enjoying a fine bottle of wine and watching shooting stars while catching up with friends and family. We loved enjoying the beauty of dusk for hours and wound up enjoying dinner at the ranch every night to experience the views in lieu of going into town. After many visits to Bend, this was by far our favorite stay and accommodation. Despite the luxury of the Triple D, you feel right at home. The Triple D has all of the attributes of a first class, five-star residence combined with the comforts of home and an amazing landscape. It doesn't get much better. The owner is wonderful to work with, thank you for your hospitality!!

Three generations of our family stayed at the Triple D ranch for a week in mid-July. We have stayed at many rented homes over the years and the Triple D is, by far our all time favorite. The house itself is spectacular - beautifully appointed and yet homey and comfortable. The pictures on the web-site do small justice to the spacious common rooms and private bedrooms, each possessing a special touch. The grounds are incredible. There are numerous sitting areas outside to curl up and read a book, watch family members fishing in the pond, enjoy the sunrise or sunset, to say nothing of the fire pit by which to sit at night and gaze at the stars. We barely wanted to leave the grounds of the ranch itself where we could hike and enjoy views of the mountains and wildlife. The caretakers on the premises, Jake and Carol, were unobtrusive but always available to assist in any requests and provide knowledge of the ranch and the Bend area in general. If you can tear yourself away from the Triple D, Bend and the surrounding areas are filled with fabulous hikes, museums, street fairs and history. We loved it so much we want to move there!

What a landmark time in our lives the trip to Triple D Ranch was to our family. The owners provided us with the opportunity to get together for several days on an exquisit piece of property that everywhere you look & go outdoors is the true rustic ranch experience that central Oregon has to offer. Indoors is the luxury of increadible living with plenty of room & all of the amenities. The spacious home was a joy to stay in. Ellagantly decorated, yet cozy & comfortable is the design with all of the unique country western motiff's. The creative idea that you might be sleeping in the same room where your favorite T.V. western cowboy,or girl has hung his hat and rested his boots is fun to imagine & stays with you the entire time. We would plan our day while waking up to a dreamy sunrise climbing up over 300 acres of true inspiration. At sunset we were in want of nothing while ate great food, played guitars & sang, laughed & taiked story about the day's events. They have it all at the Triple D Ranch in Bend, Oregon. We are forever ruined to go anywhere else! Thank you so much! Sincerely, the "Pascual" family.

We recently enjoyed a month long stay at the Trple D Ranch. Beautiful setting, clear skies and lovely star-filled night skies. There is so much to do, hiking the property, fishing, etc., and nearby we canoed down the Deschutes River and went trailriding. We even watched the crops being harvested and hosted a dinner party. The town of Bend is charming-great shops and reataurants...Truly a wonderful getaway!
