Located just 7 miles from Murphy, this designer decorated chalet sits on 1.2 acres in a low impact development which connects to USFS land. Hike to Lake Hiwassee. House has a large circular driveway so bring your boat or jet skis. It is located 2 miles from 2 boat landings.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS HOME IS NOT LOCATED ON THE LAKE, IT IS 1 MILE AWAY. There are virtually no homes on the lake as all the property is USFS land.
Master bedroom with queen bed and bathroom ensuite. Guest bedroom has an antique brass bed. Third bedroom has two twin beds. (Double aero-bed in master bedroom closet can sleep 2 more). All baths have hairdryers. A totally equipped kitchen with GAS stove, microwave,dishwasher, blender, food processor, crock pot, electric griddle, glass ware and an outdoor gas grill.

There is a $150 returnable deposit due at the time of booking.

We just spent a great long weekend in Murphy and at this cabin. We were thrilled with the cabin - it is everything described and more. This might be the best cabin we have stayed in. Very comfortable, kids love the downstairs and my wife enjoyed it all. Dub and Becky were very easy to work with and I have already expressed my desire to come visit again. I told them I wanted to lift the cabin up and bring it back to Birmingham with me.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

A beautiful cabin that is tastefully decorated throughout. Upon entry, we were extremely pleased with the cabin...we then went downstairs and were blown away with the decor and pool table! As we had several family members staying in area hotels, the large wrap around porch came in handy with socializing into the wee hours. The owners couldn't have been easier to work with and made the whole rental process painfree. We can't wait to come back in the Fall!

Stayed here for a week in Oct. 2008. This cabin is wonderful... beautiful and comfy inside and out, good location, lots of nice amenities!! Enjoyed our stay here and would return again!

This was a lovely place--exceptionally clean, neat and new. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating. They had the best assortment of kitchen conveniences I've seen in several recent trips to the mountains. The decor was very tasteful--a Pottery Barn feel. It is just a few miles out and perfect if you want to get away from the bustle of town. I would recommend this place to anyone. We loved it!
