Very recently, the 1920's Atkinson Boot Manufacturing building in gorgeous and quaint Ludington, Michigan was saved from the wrecking ball by architect Richard Craig. This grand building has provided this very unique luxury loft that shows off twelve-foot high ceilings with exposed concrete columns and steel I-beams. This condo has just completed construction and become available. The unit and all of the furnishings are brand new.

This historic building that overlooks Lake Michigan gave the loft full windows of the Ludington Car Ferries and the beautiful Ludington Marina. You walk in the front door and are immediately captured by the view.

Ludington, Michigan is located just 1.5 hours north of Grand Rapids, Michigan and a nice 4 hour drive north of Chicago. Or, you can cruise Lake Michigan on the SS Badger car ferry from Manitowoc, Wisconsin straight to Ludington.

The condo itself is located next to the Ludington Harbor View Marina and the new waterfront park. The shops and restaurants downtown start less than 1 block away. It is just 3 blocks to the House of Flavors ice cream parlor and 5 blocks to one of the best beaches in North America.

There are three bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master suite has a comfy 4-poster queen bed. The second bedroom has a king bed, and the third bedroom has two twins that can be combined together. All of the beds offer luxurious 1000 thread count linens, lots of pillows and both cool and warm comforters.

After a hard days work enjoying the sugar sand beaches of Lake Michigan or boating on Lake Hamlin, you can watch the historic Lake Michigan car ferry steam in through the harbor while enjoying a home cooked meal al fresco on the veranda. And, after everyone else in town has hung up their swimsuits for the night, you will have the option of hitting the private heated indoor pool and huge hot tub just down the hall.

  • Staying at your condo was a great experience. The "loft" style made the space feel very spacious but at the same time it felt cozy. This was really appreciated due to the damp and rainy weather we experienced most of the stay. We WILL be adding this to our list of vacation rentals to revisit some time in the future.   • Thank you so much for letting our group stay in your condo. We didn't get to spend that much time in it because we were in town for wedding festivities and were always on the run! However, the beds were very comfortable and for that we were very thankful! We were especially glad to rent this unit because the wedding reception was across the street at the marina. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to use the pool or hot tub.

  • What a wonderful time we had at your condo in Ludington. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of room for our group of six to spread out or come together to eat or play games at the dining room table. We enjoyed the patio and the view and my 4 year old grandaughter enjoyed announcing the arrival and departure of the SS BADGER. WE all really enjoyed the wonderful pool and hot tub just a few steps down the hall as we experienced some chilly weather part of the time we were there. The playground just a short block away was wonderful and we really enjoyed the beach, the restaurants and especially Ludington State Park. We had a great vacation!

  • We loved the condo and definitely look forward to returning another time. The area was beautiful, we enjoy our short day trips to the dunns in Mears, visting Pentwater and Manistee. The State Park visit was wonderful. We didn't get to take the raft up the river coming down the state park but we look forward to that next time.

  • Tim and I have been coming to Ludington for many years. This is the first time we have been within walking distance to Lattes every morning at The Bookmark. Breakfast or lunch at Chef and Cafe (Great cinnamon rolls). Jamesport Brewing for dinner. We love the Big boats.
