  Carine, As usual, we very much enjoyed our stay at your condo, and look forward to our stay next January. Your pics on VRBO are so accurate as to what your clients will find when they stay there. The atmosphere at Ocean Club is soooooooooooooo "tropical" which is one of my best feelings when there. We appreciate the visible property security and the careful attention Mildred gives to our towel/sheet/cleaning needs. Each year I seem to bring less with me knowing I can count on your kitchen being fully equippes for whatever dining plans we may have when we are not dining out or enjoying the nearby casinos. Thanksa for wanting to make a "Tropical Breeze" stay so special.

  We had a great time staying at this deluxe studio apartment at the Ocean Club. The location is excellent with shopping and restaurants close by. The apartment was clean, comforable, well maintained and reflected the description of the property as listed. Carine, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. The Ocean Club property is a beautiful setting with well maintained pool, good security and friendly staff. The bar/restaurant is convenient and fun. The Wednesday night all you can eat rib night is a blast and the ribs are the best we had on the island. The spiral staircase to the second floor is a little difficult to navigate with luggage and perhaps a little challenging for less mobile people. Overall, we would definitely recommend this apartment for a couple looking for a nice getaway.

  I found this place to be extremely comfortable and inviting. I would definitely reccomend this place as its whole ambiance helped me to stay in the carribean mode. I have stayed at many carribean places only to find It does not live up to my standards. This place exceding my expectations, I will definately rent there again.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Tropical Breeze studio is perfect for a couple. We enjoyed having our breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the pool. You really need to rent a car to enjoy the island. The weather was great, the pool and ocean warm and the drinks were cold. Need I say, we enjoyed St.Maarten very much!

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  This was our second time to SXM. As others have said, the photos are a good representation of the unit with one exception. While there was a iPod dock with speakers, there is no longer a CD player; VCR/DVD players. We had brought a few DVDs but were unable to use them. The balcony overlooking the pool is very nice with Sunbrella fabric chairs and a table. You can walk to Cupecoy's "Baby" beach in about 2 minutes. The unit was clean and fresh smelling. As someone else had noted, as you enter building 18, the unit is accessed up a narrow spiral stairway. This does take some effort getting a large heavy suitcase up. One piece of advise...always lock the buildings outer door; not just the door to the unit. The A/C was effective and not disturbing soundwise. The Ocean Club grill was open and very convenient for happy hour and served reasonably priced decent food for breakfast and dinner. The washer/dryer are located in a nearby building(less than 2 minute walk) and free to use. Please note that the rate shown in the listing does not include a cleaning fee and taxes. We would stay here again.

  Carine, Once again, Keith and I applaud the pride with which you present your condo which is so tastefully decorated and fully supplied with all of our daily needs. Each year we welcome any new additions to a unit which is already a gem. We really enjoy the deck overlooking the pool as we watch the palms sway in the breeze. The small bar/restaurant on the Ocean Club property is a great place to meet and reconnect with old friends from previous stays. We look forward to our stay in 2013. Thanks ! P.S. We also were thrilled to get to meet you in person this year !

  We arrived on Saturday and walked through the door and found exactly what was pictured in the description photo's. The place was gorgeous and perfect for the two of us. The view overlooking the pool was very soothing. And the bar/restaurant located just a few steps away was perfect for grabbing some food or a cocktail. Also, everything is relatively close. Atlantis Casino is a couple blocks away. Mullet Bay is about 3/4 mile and Maho is about a mile. Carine was very professional to deal with and made us feel at ease when booking our vacation. I would definitely book with Carine again and stay at the Ocean Club. If I had one negative, it would be the happy hour air horn that blows at 5:30pm every day. It's loud JK :o) Thanks Carine for a perfect retreat to the island.

  Very nice unit. Had all the amenities promised and in excellent condition. Only negative was the narrow curved spiral staircase necessary to get into the unit. We were unaware of that before arriving and it made getting the luggage upstairs a real challenge.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  Hi to everyone reading this review. I first want to say, You can relax when you book with Carine! She is so honest and after speaking with her by phone or via emails my husband and I felt quite at ease booking her property at this Ocean Club Resort. She has a kind spirit and it shows. We just loved this studio condo. Upon entering on the ground level, there are 12 wooden sprial stairs going up to the second floor. It was like going up to a loft. Very cute with added charm. My jaw dropped entering this condo as it looks like it came out of a magazine. I had a great big smile on my face knowing we were going to be here for 8 days. I was in heaven! It is cozy, delightful, very clean and non-smoking :-). Carine's taste in decor is excellent and looks like it was created for a photo chute. This condo has everything you need and more. AC is available but we found the fan was more than enough. Warm breezes and sounds of the island made for a great night sleep. The grounds are immaculate and it was fun overlooking the pool, having breakfast & listening to birds chirp. As well as watching swaying palm trees and having dinner on our private patio. There is even a bar/grill on site which was an added bonus because when we landed we were so hungry after our flight that we had grilled burgars and enjoyed happy hour. When we went back to our condo we found it quite quiet and peaceful. A quick walk through the grounds and past the pool and Cupecoy beach is right there and quite pretty. There is even cotton growing on some branches along the cliffs walking towards the french side. Shopping is just a 5 min. walk from the condo to Porto Cupecoy which is very handy. I can't say enough, everything was perfect. We also received great advise from Carine for shopping, restaurants and activities. Cheri's Cafe is great! Visit Pinel Island and snorkle(best spot, I think) Mullet Bay(saw 6 cuttlefish), Baie Rouge and Dawn Beach(second best) were excellent! At Maho Beach watch planes land or take off and snorkle. Rent a car and go around the island. We did twice.Bought french pastries, enjoyed the sun, the views,turquoise waters and the kind hospitality of the islanders. Fort Lewis at Marigot Bay and Fort Amsterdam have great views along with history. A sunset cruise aboard the Lord Sheffield(pirate ship) is a must with great food and crew. My husband got to steer. Take the Rhino tour, Smile,laugh and go home with great vacation memories! We did for Carine is an ANGEL
