Location: Cabarete, Dominican Republic, Caribbean (20 Minutes from Airport; Kite surfing and Windsurfing Mecca.)

Accommodations:  Condominium, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

Our third-floor condominium offers all the comforts of home with the Caribbean at your doorstep.

The king-size bed can be separated into two twin beds. High-speed internet access in bedroom and living room. Maid service is available for a nominal fee. Twenty-four hour security. We are located in a quiet area of lively daytime Cabarete.

Restaurants abound with nighttime candlelight dining on the beach. Tours are available to the interior for white-water rafting, canyoning, rock-climbing and mountain-biking. Moto-cross bike rental and track are located just outside of town.

  • Air Conditioning: We have a large heavy-duty air-conditioner which is connected to the roof for venting
  • Washer: This washer belongs to the apt only and no one else can use it. Hot and/or cold water can be used for washing. We dry our clothes on the balcony. Clothesline provided.
  • Linens Provided: We have orthotic pillows and mattresses which were new in 2005 and are in very good condition.
  • Garage: This garage is not for cars but for motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles owned by the tenants but may be use by renters.We do have 2 older bicycles that can be used if desired. Helmets are not required in the Dominican Republic except in certain areas such as Sousa, but only the driver need wear one.
  • Off Street Parking: There is a small parking lot for cars on the property which holds about 8 cars. You may park your rental vehicle in one of the available areas.

  • Twin/Single Bed: The two twin beds have a special feature that allows then to connect in the middle with no division, allowing a king-size effect.Some of the linen was brought from Canada
  • Convertible Bed: We have an extra mattress purposely made for the sofa-bed. It is placed on top of the folded out part for added comfort.

  • A very comfortable, well maintained apt with all the nesseseties and comforts of home. The grounds are beautifully kept, pool is sweet water, not Salt and only a short walk to shops, resturants and the Atlantic Ocean. We had a very relaxing stay.

The people there are much more friendly then in Punta Canna and the access to everything is great. I got the chance to meet the residence and enjoyed their company.   • We really like the location of the apartment: centrally located, steps from the beach, and yet not loud at all. It was really nicely decorated and furnished, and it was very organized in the kitchen as far as where everything was and having cooking needs like salt and pepper, spices, etc. We also loved the balcony, it was really comfortable and a great place to sit and read in the evenings after the beach before it got dark. We had such a fantastic time, and of course a large part of that was that we really enjoyed the apartment. Everything that we needed was there for us, and it was easy to find everything, both in the apartment and in Cabarete. I would absolutely recommend your apartment to a friend, as well as stay there again myself next time I go to Cabarete (I'm sure there will be - my friend and I were so sad to leave and are already trying to plan our next trip). Thank you again so much for everything, we loved it!

  • My husband and I have stayed at this apt so many times we consider it our "home away from home". It is just lovely. So many of the apt rentals in Cabarete just have the bare minimuns. You can live, kind of cook and be sort of comfortable. But here the kitchen is better equipped then mine at home. The washer is a luxury as doing laundry on vacation is always a problem, but in Cabarete it is an even bigger problem. It is furnished beautifully and it truly a comfortable place to stay. We have stayed there for 6 weeks at a time, so comfort & feeling at home, being able to cook a real meal, watch TV, have the beds be comfortable, have reliable A/C are all essential for staying somewhere for that long of a time. You never have to worry if the apt or the linens are clean, they are. There is a closet (with hangers, which by the way isn't always true in the other places) plus a dresser. Even the bathroom has nice shelves for your toiletries, not a rusty medicine cabinet. I am difinitely a "picker person" when it comes to where I stay but this apt meets all my high expectations. The pool is large and clean and uses sweet water as opposed to salt water. The grounds are just beautiful. The location of the apt makes it very quiet. The location in town is exactly where we like to be. You can walk to almost everything. The beach is across the street, lots of restaurants and clubs around, Internet cafes in case you didn't bring your laptop, a couple of small grocery stores are right across the street, the main grocery is at the end of town but still within walking distance. If you buy too much at the store, you can always take a moto back to the apt. As for security, there is a safe in the apt, and the gates to the condos are locked and guarded at night, I feel quite safe there, even walking by myself at night. Of course, like anyplace care should be taken. Cabarete is a very International little town. We have met many people from all over the world and have made many friends there. The prices for the apt are a deal, believe me. As you can tell, we did stay at another apt complex once so I know about the prices, the hard beds, cooking toast on the range top because they did not have a toaster, and having to buy hangers because there were none provided. In my opinion, this apt and complex is the best in town and we will keep coming back to our "home away from home".
