We had a marvelous time at the Kensington House. The decor was really nice, like it came from a cottage magazine photo. The back yard was great for our dog. The hot tub was in a private area beside the house, just off the back patio. There are several restaurants as well as downtown within about a mile. There is also a nice day spa about a two minute walk away. If you want something close to everything, search no further.

Our family of nine spent ten days at Kensington House. It was so clean and well-equipped. We loved grilling in the courtyard and relaxing in the spacious living room. The Dick and Jane style room was so cute and nostalgic! Thanks Cranmore for such a lovely home to stay in.

We had rented another place through this agency, wanting to be "away from it all". The first place was truly a dump, so we were moved here. This place was better, but still dissapointing. It is on a very busy street so traffic sounds were constant day and night. There is a hot tub, but it is hidden behind a wooden fence and is surrounded by weeds and grass. It was full of leaves and sand. Needless to say, we had no interest in using it. There is a double fireplace with gas logs, but signage on it says only one side can be lit at a time. I will say the beds were comfortable, so that was a plus. But it was far from the relaxing get away that we desired.

The house was nice and well kept, but there wasn't a hot tub and we couldn't figure out how to light the gas fireplace. When I contacted the owner regarding the hot tub issue, he didn't reply.

Kensington was the perfect place for our family retreat. Everything was so clean and nicely decorated. It was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The fenced yard was great for our children to play in. We enjoyed playing games next to the fire in the spacious living room - enough seating for all 9 of us!. Thank you for providing such a peaceful, pleasant home-away -from-home for us.
