This is a classic Sonoma Valley vacation home from days gone by, which has been lovingly refurbished by the family that owns it, keeping a bit of their history alive, for their and YOUR enjoyment.
Sitting on a 1-acre parcel is La Ranchette de Sonoma a 2300 square foot three bedroom, three-bath ranch style house, spacious kitchen and living/dining areas. Recent renovations include refinished wood floors, freshly painted living areas, beds, linens and wine country furnishings. The home offers cable TV, DVD, WIFI - wireless computer access and a country brick fireplace. Laundry facilities on premise.
Master suite has one king-size bed with full bath, second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Each room has been decorated with vintage furnishings and delightful details.
Enjoy the large backyard with views of the Mayacamas Mountains and native landscaping with shade trees. Outdoor dining is complete with a new stainless steel barbeque and stylish patio furniture. There is ample space for children’s outdoor explorations and play, and a very entertaining community of squirrels. We are a 10-minute walk, 5-minute bike ride or a quick car ride to the Sonoma Plaza.
La Ranchette de Sonoma offers every comfort of home, in a peaceful setting in close proximity to all the attractions of the area. The Sonoma Plaza is where you will find great restaurants, wine tasting, wonderful boutiques and an old-time town square. In addition, nearby are many of our local historic wineries, historic landmarks, museums, spas and art galleries.

The main reason we chose this particular offering over all the others available was because the owners were so responsive and welcoming. The reason we plan to return asap is because the venue was exactly as described--lovingly maintained with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Everything about this place was lovely. The house was nicely decorated, impeccibly clean, a beautiful yard and grounds, and it is located in a great location- under a mile from the town square. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone!

The house was more than we could have asked for. We loved the place. It was decorated very well and functional for our stay. The owner also added some thoughtful personal touches, fresh flowers, a list of recommended restaurants, etc. The house was also very close to the Sonoma town square- cute and quaint. Overall fantastic house!
