You enter into the garden by a private path with your own gate. This charming French studio is serenely tucked in the midst of gardens Monet would have loved. Flowering trees make the cottage completely private, and also attract hummingbirds and butterflies. French doors and windows open out onto the garden patio where you can sit by a small fountain under the shade of a 20 foot orange tree. For dining there is another small bricked patio with a table, or a formal dining table inside.

The studio is 800 square feet, lit by skylights. Oriental carpets cover the floors. The kitchen is totally equipped from salad bowl to garlic press, toaster oven to microwave. A large butcher block table is there for chopping.
For entertainment, there is Direct TV with HBO and SHO as well as a stereo tuner.
The bedroom area is equipped with a sumptuous pollow-top queen mattress, and an inflateable queen mattress can be provided for more people, if necessary.
Famous Venice Beach is a 10 minute bike ride(2 bikes provided).. You have easy public transit access to Venice Beach, downtown LA. and all art and entertainment venues. Walk or bike to the nearby shopping center for a Starbucks, grocery store, Costco, video store, etc. |
