Hidden away in Gun Bay on the tranquil East End of Grand Cayman on a very large lot including more than 200 feet of full sand beachfront, Windward Cove's 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom villa is unrivaled in its privacy. Stroll the beach for hundreds of yards in either direction, and rarely will you see another soul, or another villa for that matter, yet so many conveniences are 2 miles or less from the villa (grocery, restaurants, liquor store, watersports, etc). Twenty miles away from the hustle and crowds of the 7 Mile Beach corridor, yet near to all you might need. Windward Cove is very close to Little Fosters grocery store, Jacques Scott liquor store, gift shops, Dunkin Donuts, and many fine restaurants including Tukka(Australian/Carribean Fusion restaurant only 1/4 mile away), The Lighthouse Restaurant,, The Italian Kitchen, Over The Edge, The Reef, Morritts, and more. Two of the top water sports operations (diving, snorkeling, kite boarding, etc) in Grand Cayman (one being the famed Ocean Frontiers 1/2 mile away), are both less than 2 miles from the villa. The Rum Point Club, Botanical Gardens, and Blow Holes are right nearby as well. You get to experience and see Grand Cayman in glorious fashion. All of the conveniences, none of the crowds. The gated front courtyard area finds a myriad of flowering plants and trees to greet your arrival. Our picnic table area sits in the lush zoysia grass, amid the bougainvillea flowers and Christmas palms, and is shaded by a large coconut palm throughout the day. One step through the front door and you are greeted by the large open air great room with vaulted whitewashed cedar ceilings. Four large bedrooms (2 oceanfront, 2 garden view) easily sleep eight adults, and nobody gets stuck in a tiny or overcrowded room. Each full bathroom is equipped with a tub & shower, and there is a large half bathroom off the great room. A fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, entertainment center, wireless high speed internet access, (see amenities for full list) to serve all your needs. Central air conditioning and eleven ceiling fans (including one in every bedroom) help keep things cool should the gentle ocean breezes not suffice. Four separate sets of disappearing sliding glass doors make up the back wall of Windward Cove, and open onto a 52' screened-in porch capturing the sunshine, tropical breezes and views from three directions. It brings the whole outside in. Step outside to an elevated Trex deck and you are greeted by a reef protected lagoon that varies in depth from very shallow to 30+ feet further out towards the reef. Follow the deck down past our large oceanfront pool to the side of the house and you will find the brand new poolside cabana full bathroom. One step further to the left...the Beach.
There's a reason we have so many beach pictures on our site. We have an awesome Beach! In fact, our problem is capturing how great this property actually is on film. Please do your research as all beaches and ocean entries are not created equal. Windward Cove boasts over 200' of private deep sugar sand beachfront (no rocks or ironshore), amid shady coconut palm and casuarina trees. The beach and water at Windward Cove is ideal for all ages (from very young children to older adults) with many shallow pool areas, and even more fun further out. Snorkeling the many coral heads in the waters right out back is a favorite activity for many of our guests, as is swimming in the calm reef protected waters. It's basically all here. If a great beach and ocean environment is important to your group, then your vacation villa search is basically over. You are looking at a hotel sized beach of the highest quality at an ultra private villa. Perfect for everything from small beach weddings/honeymoons, to the ultimate family getaway. All this at an incredible value!

What a wonderful place to spend our vacation. We got some rain and wind, but it didn't dampen our spirits one bit! We went to Georgetown several times, played hand and foot (the girls won!) and found some conch shells on the beach. Our last "Family Mystery Trip", bittersweet, but the perfect place to end - one of the folks favorite places. The water was warm as bathwater. What a wonderful place to spend 2 weeks. We so enjoyed sunrises, sunsets and late night lightning storms over the water! Jet ski tour with Fat Fish Adventures was a major treat for us all! Late afternoon kayak trips and bike rides helped us all burn the calories from all of the good food and drink! Best food: Kaibo, Calico Jack's @ SMB, Vivine's Kitchen for local food. We had a wonderful time here at Windward Cove! There really isn't a bad place to stay in, but we really love it here in East End. Your location was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We snorkeled Rum Point, Morrits dock, Cayman Kai beach and did a deep sea fishing charter. Afternoons were spent swimming and kayaking and we enjoyed sitting on the porch at night. Some good thunderstorms, but mostly at night. This was our 2nd stay here at Windward Cove and we look forward to returning soon! Thanks for everything! Jennifer R. and Family, IL

(By Emma, 12 years old) I really like playing in the pool. It's 80 degrees and it's one of the most fun things here too! I also like snorkeling in the ocean; the coral reefs are beautiful! The tropical fish are very colorful and cool. We went to see dolphins, and that was SO fun11 I love the Cayman islands and I hope we can come here again next year.
