Lovely two-story true waterfront home tastefully decorated in popular Walden subdivision close to all nearby entertainment off Hwy 105, restaurants, boat launch and shops. Beautiful waterfront home with SPARKLING POOL and magnificent views from all windows across the back, master bedroom patios and from our large patio, truly awesome views in and out!!. Sparking pool with floats provided for great family fun, the pool has seating around the edge. Excellent home for family vacations to gather and make new memories and/or to sit back and relax with a good book sitting in or out! Cozy up to our large fireplace and we provide the firewood for your enjoyment during the cool weather. Great fun fishing right outside the back, sit down relax and watch the fun. As our guests, you will be able to enjoy the Walden Tennis Complex, Marina, and the Walden Yacht Club and all the amenities and events. Bicycles are provided for biking through the many bike trails in Walden or ride to the Yacht Club and Marina. The Walden Yacht Club is less than 1 mile away. .
Great fishing right out the back yard, just sit, relax and catch fish, see pictures. Our home provides every amenity imaginable for a family vacation getaway including a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots/pans, dishes, serving trays, cookie sheets, etc. along with an outdoor gas and charcoal grill. Firewood provided for cozy nights by the fireplace.
Expansive living area with open water views across the entire first floor dining, kitchen, and living rooms . Comfortable shabby chic sofas downstairs and leather sofas upstairs to relax on and take in the views of this beautiful lake. Two large master bedroom suites each furnished with KING poster-beds with designer linens and plush heavenly mattresses in each; a special treat with balconies overlooking the lake with romantic views, 3rd bedroom with an antique full bed, 4th bedroom with two sets of bunk-beds. Each master has a private bathroom and the other two bedrooms have their own private full bathrooms.
There is a large media room with a 60 inch TV and DVD with movies for kids' entertainment upstairs and a card table,plus a 60 in PLASMA TV downstairs for full entertainment. Nice wet bar area downstairs.
Large deck overlooking the pool with two tables and 8 chairs to enjoy the outside, plus 4 chaise lounges for sunbathing. Large firepit with andirondack chairs around and skewers provided for making smores in the evening, bring your graham crackers, marshmallows and hersheys chocolate bars!

A wonderful stay for a vacation getaway for the family wanting to have fun in the sun or relax to a tranquil lake setting. Come for the fall and winter it is awesome on the lake, with a large cozy fireplace and outside fire pit and Great Fishing off the dock. For those with boats, a boat launch is less than a mile from the home with 75 feet of water frontage in front of our home for parking.
Walden is one of the few neighborhoods that is close enough to hop in your boat & go get lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants close by less than 10 minutes by boat, including: Sam's Boat, County Line BBQ, Five Guys Burger & Fries, I-HOP, Marble Slab, Double Dave's Pizza, Which Wich, Elderado Jack's and Starbucks,

We have owned lakefront property on Lake Conroe since 1988 and have always enjoyed this beautiful lake and community. We love all the attractions and the beauty of the trees and deer. The National Forest area near Lake Conroe makes you feel like you are secluded and truly on vacation, yet only 30miles north of one of the largest cities.

The unique benefitsof our lakehouse is that you can take in the beautiful views wherever you sit in the house and truly relax. You can sit back and enjoy not only the lakeviews,but their are several birds and cranes that land there, the nature is incredible around the lake. It is a world apart from the hussle of the big city. The drive up here is just awesome and you truly can see the change of seasons especially in the Fall.

My husband and I have been boaters since before we had our first child in 1985 and our lake of choice was Lake Conroe. We always had a desire to own a property on the lake and we purchased our first lakefront property in 1988. Through the years we sought other properties and finally found this beautiful lakehouse. My husband is a residential appraiser and I am in real estate and this home once belonged to Rudy Tomjonovich a popular baketball coach for the Houston Rockets which makes it that much more interesting. We have rented our home out for over 4 years and everyone of our guests have enjoyed it and shared special times and created fond and fun memories there with friends and family. We love sharing our beautiful lakehouse with you and we pay particular attention to every important detail to make it comfortable for everyone visiting, we are certain you will be comfortable sleeping in our beds and will definitely enjoying our lakhouse on the lake..

We had a team retreat for my business at this lakehouse. I had team members from MN, PA, CA, NV and of course local team members at this event. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean. The place was roomy and very comfortable. It was able accommodate the various activities we had going on. We will indeed rent this place again next year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was excellent and clean, but the TV in the family den and the master bedroom was on the same server. This was a headache, because if I was in the master bed room relaxing for the evening and the kids were in the den, my channel would change to whatever channel the TV was changed to. Also, we never received the deposit back from the stay. We have left several messages via phone and email and no response. This was a very bad experience b/c it makes you uneasy to rent from a private owner again. If the deposit was held for any reason, we should have received a written notification explaining why the deposit was not returned. I don't think there was reason, because, there was No Damage to the home and I know it was Clean. We usually rent from a property management company for vacation rentals and with this experience we may not use VRBO again for any future rentals.
Owner response:I received the information about the TV during the weekend and called the network at the time and they could not understand what was wrong, so they put a ticket in to send a tech out to the house to fix. They came out, the following work day but the renters were gone by then. The technician said that someone had pused a button in the Media room on the control box that allows the 2 televisions to view the same channel? I have put that on the contract for future renters. The customer paid through Pay Pal and we send payments back the same way they came in for recordkeeping. I have a copy of his payment and email used to make payment and a copy of our payment back of $309.00 to him via the same email through Pay Pal. I also have copies of the last correspondence to the customer asking if he had received the payment and when I did not hear back from him I thought he had received it. I lost my brother to cancer at the end of the year and a part of my life was on hold for a short while, where I might have missed a phone call but most of the correspondence with this customer was through emails and he had several emails. I have attached all my copies including my last email stating: "we sent the lakehouse deposit back to the email account used to pay us, please let me know you received it." It is almost a year later when I get this message and will go back and research the Pay Pal records to rectify this immediately.

The photos do not do this house justice. We recently had our annual mother daughter weekly vacation and it was great! Pleanty of bathrooms and the upstair was so much larger than we anticipated. The house was perfect and the pool was in the shade in the hotest part of the day! Great house I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a great vacation rental!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
