2. Take the community access cards provided and entertain yourself at Club Destiny, a myriad of activities in the community just a few steps away. Activities include a seasonally-heated large pool, hot tub, cooking pavilion, huge children's playground (adjoining the pool), clubhouse, putting green, exercise room, basketball hoop/tennis courts, and a 25-seat enclosed movie theater where you can watch your own movies!
3. Take the low-speed vehicle (lsv - available with separate security deposit) and cruise across the street to the beach (don't limit yourself to the Destiny East area -the lsv will allow you to take your pick -visit the quietest or most festive beaches in Destin), or just enjoy a scenic drive on the "35 mile per hour or less" streets. It is tagged and can be driven just like a car, looks like a luxury golf cart, but all street laws apply -must be 16, have license, etc. You can access shopping, restaurants, etc. without ever getting into your own car!
Never feel cramped in this "estate at the beach". Lots of beach homes have been crammed with furniture and beds to accommodate greater numbers, but "The Palms at WatersEdge" provides you with lots of space in addition to roomy accommodations.
Step inside a two-story dramatic foyer with spiral staircase and travertine floors. An open, light, scenic floor plan will welcome you to sunny Florida in a grand way! The FIRST FLOOR has a large kitchen with bar and overlooks the keeping room with a 50 inch plasma HDTV. Another separate living room with a gas fireplace. MASTER SUITE on this level features a KING bed, 32 inch HDTV, beautiful views, and large bathroom with walk-in custom stone shower with seat and custom rain head shower and body sprayers. The bathroom also features a Jacuzzi tub.
The SECOND FLOOR features a MASTER SUITE identical to the one below with the same: KING bed, 32 inch HDTV, gorgeous views, and same incredible bath and shower features. Open the door to an expansive balcony with two over-sized lounge chairs to enjoy a spectacular sunrise and sunset! BEDROOM Three has KING bed and a sleeper sofa so that a small family will fit comfortably in one private bedroom with access to balcony. Separate, private bath with stone-tiled shower. BEDROOM Four features a twin/full bunk bed and fold-down, Queen-sized Murphy bed. Its bathroom has a large vanity and stone-tiled shower. Best of all, at the top of the spiral staircase is a second living area with 42 inch Plasma HDTV and wet bar with refrigerator to enable a family or families to separate themselves when viewing movies.
