Welcome to Whispering Pines, "Our Home Away From Home" located in South Lake Tahoe, California. Our Cabin with a mountain view and clean air, is a four bedroom, three bath vacation home that accommodates eleven people.
This spacious cabin is designed for entertaining, rustic but fully up to date. The cabin has a large living room with a wood burning stove that opens up to a huge deck. The living room has unique mountain style furniture, television, DVD, VCR, radio, games and books.
The deck is quite large with plenty of outdoor furniture, seating, gas BBQ and a view of the mountains. There is also a small deck on the front of the cabin.
There is a separate dining room that also opens up to the deck with a large dining table, hutch and plenty of dishes for guests. The kitchen has all of the modern appliances, including a ceramic top stove and all small electrical appliances, and plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils and kitchen staples.
There are three bathrooms and one of the bathrooms has a unique clawfoot bathtub. As you enter the cabin on the main floor there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living and dining room, hallway and kitchen. Downstairs is a fourth bedroom/bonus room with beds, television, VCR, separate bathroom, and laundry room. Also there is access to outside.
Cabin is located in a quiet area and is close to everything.
There is something for everyone, skiing, swimming, casinos, wonderful restaurants, hiking, shopping,theaters, cinema, and world class entertainers.

Second Bedroom: Queen size Bed
Third Bedroom: Log Bunk Bed, Queen on Bottom and Twin on Top

Dec 10-Mar 30 .. $225/weekdays, $500 weekends, $1400/week.
Apr 01-May 25 .. $150/weekdays, $375 weekends, $ 850/week.
July 4th and Thanksgiving .................... $1500/week.

All rentals are a two night minimum except holidays which are three night minimum.
Security Deposit is $250 with a $125 cleaning fee.

Why the Owner Chose Pioneer Trail
This is my third cabin at South Lake Tahoe and I love the convenient location. It is close to everything and in a quiet area. My family have been coming to Tahoe since the 70's and enjoy everything about it. There is always something to discover about the area and so much to do. I love the many different beaches at Tahoe and make a point of going to as many as I can during the summer. Each has something different to offer. Many fine restaurants and cafes surround the area and there is something for everyone who visits. Gambling, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, hiking, exploring, dining and picnicing etc. I have never lost my love for Lake Tahoe.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
My cabin is a unique home because it is a log cabin and feels like Lake Tahoe. I have tried to decorate it in the motif. The minute I walk through the door, I feel relaxed and at home. I hope that everyone who comes through the door feels the same way. It is not just a rental or second residence but a home away from home. My family and I love the cabin.
