Why the Owner Chose Grandview
Breckenridge is a lovely, historic mountain town, one with a small-town personality and a wide range of year-round activities. There are the usual winter activities, as well as the summer music festival. Breckenridge is close to the nearby ski areas of Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and just over the pass is Vail. Breckenridge is conveniently located west of Denver and Denver International Airport via Interstate 70. The summer and fall provide a restful retreat from the heat of the Great Plains. There is a paved bike path that connects Breckenridge with Dillon-Silverthorne, and also continues to Copper Mountain and Vail (via the bike path up/over Vail Pass).
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
During ski season, the unit is conveniently located just off the 4 O'clock run with access to the Snowflake Lift. Coming home for a hot lunch after a morning of skiing is pleasant and very cost effective. In the summer you can walk down the 4 O'clock run into town where you will frequently see birds, squirrels, even deer and the occasional fox. The 4 O'clock run ends on Park Avenue just across from the River Walk entertainment complex. In the summer, Breckenridge has a "fun park" at the base of Peak 8 with an alpine slide, maze, and other attractions. There is no parking at the base of Peak 8 and, conveniently, the unit is just a short walk from the fun park.

There is no question where I will stay when visiting Breckenridge in the future. This unit surpassed all expectations. All four of us were in total agreement; the Abells present the finest rental available. Clean, modern, quiet, perfectly located. A great find. M&M

We stayed here for 3 nights. David the owner was very helpful, and the rental was very straightforward. The place was very clean with nice comfortable furnishings. Great bathrooms. The kitchen was incredibly stocked. Sometimes in rentals you get crappy pots, pans, and a few random dishes, but this place was totally decked out with everything we needed and much much more. I've never stayed in a rental with anything quite like it. The slopes are a short walk away. Not directly across the street, but still very close. The condo is right on the end and easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:If you have the time and inclination to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with most everything you will need. Our other amenities will also contribute to a pleasant stay. In the winter there are the many nearby ski runs on Peaks 7, 8, and 9, plus several terrain parks. During the warmer months our large walk-out deck provides the added bonus of being able to sit outside, use the BBQ and enjoy the sun and sounds of nature. In the summer it only a short walk down the 4 O'clock ski run to visit the fine Breckenridge Music Festival in the Riverwalk Center. As one of the town's blurbs says, "...local wisdom has it that people visit Breckenridge for the winters, but end up staying for the summers." No matter the season, come stay with us, enjoy the small intimate town known locally as "The Kingdom of Breckenridge".
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
