If you are looking for a large South Haven vacation house with convenient access to Lake Michigan, consider this home. We fondly refer to this colonial-style home as "Lucky Stone."
This charming, two-story house has a total of seven bedrooms, three and a half baths, and sleeps 13! For added privacy there is an attached efficiency apartment on the first floor with its own kitchen and entry. Their is also a separate two bedroom one bath guest cottage on the property to the rear of Luckystone that is available for an additional $1,000 per week.
The inviting decor is rich with Lake Michigan heritage and relaxed summer home comfort. You'll leave with lasting memories of dining at a beautiful, ten foot long farmhouse table and gatherings with family and friends in the living area complete with a lovely stained glass bay window.
You'll enjoy the comforts of home as well, with air conditioning, cable TV, VCR, CD player, telephone with answering machine, and a laundry room with washer and dryer on the first floor. We provide linens and bath towels for your convenience, (beach towels NOT provided).
The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a four-burner gas range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, 14.48 cubic foot refrigerator, microwave oven, 12 cup coffeemaker, four slice toaster, and a natural gas grill just outside the kitchen door. There are two additional refrigerators perfect for keeping lots of chilled beverages!
Lucky Stone is on the east side of North Shore Drive, kitty corner from a park with public beach access to Lake Michigan. There is an outside shower on the property we find just right for trips up from the beach. We also provide beach chairs and a bicycle. This central North Beach location is within walking distance of shopping, dining, and recreational activities.
Please note: Smoking is prohibited in the house.
