We rented this flat for a holiday family reunion on the beach -- such a perfect location and so well appointed for cooking together and playing in the sand. Waking up to an ocean view is wonderful, and walking right out on the sand for beach combing, whale and dolphin watching, and a quick stroll to some great restaurants is really special. The interior of the house has plenty of room for a big group to eat together and then enjoy a game or DVD, with comfortable couches and a flat screen TV just as pictured. The grill works well and the porch is large for soaking in the sunsets from a private spot. Wi-fi is free, and the interior decor and colors are peaceful and breezy. Recommended!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed here in October 2011, two couples from England and Australia, meeting for an International Golf Tournament. The property is located directly on the beach in Del Mar with wonderful views over the ocean. Watching the dolphins cruising by and the pelicans surfing the waves was a real treat. Facing due West the sunsets over the ocean were glorious. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away. As for the golf, Torrey Pines lived up to all expectations, with Salt Creek, Aviara and Maderas not far behind. In conclusion, a trip of fourteen days to remember.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
