The pictures of the house looked really nice, but it was even more amazing actually being in there. That was one of the best trips we have ever been on. We recommend renting the bikes from BJ and Andy as well, much cheaper than anywhere else on the North Shore. The bike path along that ocean was a lot of fun. Traveling with a baby, this was definitely the way to go over a hotel; much more room, better ocean views and was very nice having a fold up crib and high chair seat already at the house. Don't forget your camera if your planning on staying here!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our first trip to Hawaii was amazing, and this house was certainly among the reasons it was so great. The location was key for most everything we wanted to do, which included snorkeling, cliff diving, waterfalls, and relaxing on the beach. Everything was walking distance away, including grocery, coffee, and two amazing beaches. The house was wonderful, but the ocean outside was even more amazing. I can't imagine what the surf and accompanying sound would be during the winter months. I still miss the sound of the waves crashing against the shore nearly three weeks later. The house was just as described, only just a bit better. We had lots of snorkeling equipment, so we didn't have to rent any, and there were beach chairs, boogie boards and everything we may have wanted (although we only used the snorkeling equipment). Snorkeling was great just two minutes to the north. I understand why the owners don't commit to this stuff being there, as it is "as is", and I am sure just left by previous tenants, but...we had plenty. Communication with the owners (BJ and Andy) was easy and perfect, not that much was needed. Anyone looking for a relaxing time in Hawaii would love this house. The house had ample room for 6 people (we had 5), and was just beautiful. It was very private out back on the deck. We had the sunsets and the waves to ourselves! We were able to see turtles in Waimea Bay, and several whales kept us entertained for a bit while they played several hundred yards out from our deck. Another benefit to the house was the laundry. We were able to our laundry prior to leaving so my wife didn't get home with a mountain of laundry to do. This was a great trip, a great house, and we hope to return soon. Mahalo!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved this rental. Watching the waves break on the rocks below the deck was amazing, especially since so many pods of whales were also going by. Being able to walk to Foodland in 5 minutes was another plus; having a full-size washer and dryer was also great. When we checked in, the property manager, Greg, was there and he was so helpful.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house is located in a fenced compound, with off-street parking, together with another rental house. It is directly in front of the ocean, with fantastic views from the porch to rolling waves and black volcanic rocks. Beach access to Waimea Bay is a three-minute walk away. The local supermarket and coffee shop are three minutes in the other direction. Many other beaches can be found within ten minutes in this direction. The house has two double bedrooms and a futon sofa off the open-plan living room/kitchen/dining area. There is a large screen television in this area as well. Wireless internet and free US/Canada phone service is provided and works well. The kitchen is complete with a large fridge, four-burner electric stove, microwave, and lots of other equipment and supplies. There are two bathrooms, one with an ocean view from the bath tub. The furniture is appropriate to a beach house. In general, the house is very well cleaned, maintained, and in good condition. It is, in my opinion, superior in every way to alternatives such as hotels. However, you either have to do your own housekeeping, or hire local help at around $25/hour.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We were a group of 5, two couples and mom. Stayed four nights and was sorry to leave, but we moved to another location on the north side of the island. Our stay here was excellent and the accommodations were wonderful. The photos for the advertisement are accurate but do not do it justice. If I could add a photo I would be able to show you what we mean. We photographed a whale 15' out of the water about 1/4 mile out from the patio where we sat. You can watch whales virtually all day from a ringside seat. The amenities of the property are excellent and if you're doing a trip to Hawaii with a small group (4 or 5) this is the way to do it. Private, cozy and very comfortable. With a rental car you can go anywhere on the island-and we did! Very nice trip. We recently stayed at this beautiful Ocean front property. The house is gorgeous and quite spacious, there was 7 of us ( 5 adults and 2 toddlers) and we had plenty of room! It is also fully stocked with everything to make your stay comfortable, including a crib and booster seat! The view from the house is stunning!! The house is only a 40 minute drive from Honolulu and a 30 minute drive from the Polynesian Cultural Centre. There is a grocery store just a couple of blocks away as well as some great food trucks such as The Impossible Pizza. The town of Haleiwa is just minutes away and has some great restaurants and unique shops. This was one of the best family vacations we have taken! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fabulously relaxing vacation on the beautiful island of Oahu!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I hosted my mother and brother at the wonderful beach house. It was the first time to Hawaii for all of us and I wanted it to be very special. I'm so glad that after months of research we chose this house. It was actually the highlight if the trip for my mother. What a great location...it had everything we wanted. Privacy, steps from 3 tables beach, walking distance to the market. Wow. We will come back! This was a very special time for us and the house was a big part of it. Wow those sunsets. I will never forget them! A fantastic time!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The Waimea Point ocean front house is awsome and everything is a advertised. This house offers the perfect location on the north shore. Every amenity you could need is within walking distance – 2 fantastic beaches (Waimea Bay and Three Tables), a grocery store, Starbucks, and an equipment rental shop (North Shore Surf Shop). There is a bike path right outside the gate and you can ride all the way to Sunset. Fantastic snorkeling next door. We will stay again! Thanks BJ & AndyRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Our family recently returned from our second stay at the Waimea Point ocean front house. If it is possible, the second stay was even better than the first – a new barbecue and two new bikes helped. This house offers the perfect location on the north shore, making frenetic pace of Waikiki seem like a distant memory. Barbecuing on the deck while watching the sun set was the perfect way to end our day. Every amenity you could need is within walking distance – 2 fantastic beaches (Waimea Bay and Three Tables), a grocery store, Starbucks, a nice outdoor restaurant (Sharks Cove Grill) and an equipment rental shop (North Shore Surf Shop). The tranquility of Three Tables Beach was nicely offset by the proximity to the great bike path and fantastic snorkeling that are literally right outside the property gate. As the ocean is very calm in the summer we rented Stand Up Paddle Boards and took a leisurely paddle to Waimea Bay for some cliff jumping and more snorkeling. Later in the day dolphins swam into the bay and entertained the beach goers. When we got home we found the dolphins were still nearby and we watched them playing directly behind the house - about 150 meters from the shore. Drew, from Surf and Sea in Haleiwa, took us on 4 dives – 2 at Sharks Cove and 2 right beside the house at Three Tables. I’ve found my new favorite dive site – Three Tables. Each dive was spectacular! From the moment we walked into the house we felt very comfortable - the pictures accurately depict the property. Both times the property was immaculately clean. The owners have made some recent upgrades that enhanced the stay. All of our dealings with BJ and Andy have been outstanding as they are very responsive to any concerns or questions.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
