The Haishan Inn (Chinese name for Sea-to-Mountain) features three fully furnished suites each with its own special ambience. All units are 1 bedroom and one bath and include a fully furnished kitchen. They range in size from 650-850 sq. ft. and can sleep up to four adults. The two smaller units are located on the first level and each offers their own unique setting. Our largest suite is located on the second floor. It has two large picture windows providing a never-ending view of Birch Bay and the San Juan Islands. Birch Bay is known for its warm shallow waters, long sandy beaches, and a tide that seems to go out forever. It is popular for clam digging and crabbing. It is also a favorite place for bicycling and hiking with easy navigation and beautiful scenery.
The Haishan Inn's facilities include an area for BBQ and lounging, a newly designed Gazebo for shade and those intimate moments, a Rose Garden for quiet reflection and a waterfront that offers world-class bird watching. Waterfront launching area makes for easy access of canoes or kayaks. The Haishan Inn is conveniently located directly across from the Public Beach and is about 5 minutes from the State Park and the Water Park. Easy access and plenty of parking.
