There is a Floridita pool with kids sprayers, etc., and our new Fitness Center just opened. Emerald Beach Resort is centrally located on Panama City Beach. Across the street is Funland Arcade, Jeannie's Diner, and the Homemade Ice Cream shop. It's less than a mile to Pier Park's walking trails, free summer concerts, 16-screen Grand Movie Theater, and Super Target store. Other stores include Borders Books, Old Navy, JC Penneys, Dillards, Ron Jons Surf Shop. Restaurants include Panera Bread, Longhorns Steak House, Olive Garden, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Guy Harvey's Seafood, plus many more. Tootsie's Orchid Lounge for has cocktails, beer and live bands. Sometimes you can catch a live entertainment on the street. New at Pier Park is a children's carousel and train ride. If you love to shop, this is the place for you! The resort is also close to golf, including 27 holes at the Hombre Championship Golf Course, restaurants, fishing, shops, Shipwreck Island Water Park, Zoo World, Gulf World Marine Park, Wonder Works, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Rock'It Lanes, and other attractions.
This unit has a colorful, beach decor with quality furnishings and new carpet (Nov 2011). Features include a fully-equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops, GE Profile appliances, microwave, and a washer/dryer.
The dining table seats four, breakfast bar three.
The beautiful living area has a 32-inch HDTV with digital cable and HBO plus HDMI DVD player, and WIRELESS internet access. High definition programming includes ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Discovery Theater. DVD player upconverts regular DVDs to near-HD quality.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, dresser, 2 night stands with lamps, and a 26-inch flat screen TV with digital cable and DVD player. The adjoining full bathroom has a marble tub and vanity and is also accessible from the hallway. The queen sofa sleeper in the living room accommodates 2 additional guests.
Emerald Beach Resort includes many first class amenities such as an on-site full-service STARBUCKS, high-speed elevators, and Florida's largest sky bridge to cross the highway above the traffic. The skybidge houses the SKY BAR which has poker night, karaoke night, and many TV's to watch your favorite sport. There is a beachfront pool and hot tub with Tiki Bar and family movie nights by the pool. The Floridita pool has one pool with fun water features for children, another pool for adults to hang out, hot tub, and snack bar.
Kid-friendly features include: family games, cards, books, and DVDs, sand toys, beach umbrella, bed rail, outlet covers, night light, kids cups, hand-held shower for washing hair, etc.

Our original plans to stay in March were changed due to unforseen circumstances, and the owners, Jill and Sharon, were so accommodating and helpful, that we were able to make arrangements to stay in July. Worked out wonderfully, as we were able to include the grandkiddos. They love the beach, as do I, and we were not disappointed. The first words out of their mouth as we entered the unit was "Wow" as we approached the ocean view through the wall-to-wall glass doors. My grandson said "and we get to stay here for a whole week?" :) The unit was clean and well-equipped -- ready for us to make it ours for 7 days. There were starter items, like toilet paper, soaps, coffee, . . . very appreciative of those items until we made it to the store to stock up on our needs. Having the rental beach lounges and umbrella included was such a nice plus! Location is great. We utilized all the pools, and they were clean and inviting. But the view . . . my favorite is sitting out on the balcony in the morning with coffee and a book . . . I miss the view!!!!! I definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained, oceanview get-away. Thanks so much Jill (and Sharon), for your generosity and hospitality. We hope to be returning guests!!!!

Our stay here has been great! We love the condo, very clean, well decorated, nice layout and a great view. My wife says she thinks she is on a cruise ship looking out and seeing nothing but ocean, (the gulf) untill you step out on the patio and see the white sandy beach. The Emerald Beach Resort has a lot to offer and the location is great. It's close to Pier Park, the Frank Brown Park and lots of good restruants. The owners; Jill & Sharon have been very accomadating and are good people. We would definately reccomend the property for a vacation get-away.

Our family of 4 visited July 21 till July 28. Everything was so wonderful-everything you could ask for was provided. The views from the balcony were so wonderful. We were so pleased, and hope to return again in the near future.

Regarding anyone with a family who is looking for a condo in Panama City Beach, you can not go wrong with this one. This is the best condo by far. The owners have thought of every little detail. Our kids really enjoyed it...it truly was a home away from home. Don't forget to go to Buddy's seafood and if you are a fisherman or want to have a great father - son fishing trip...don't forget Captain Anderson's party boat for fishing...we caught some great red snappers. The beaches were great as well.

From the time that I found the condo online all the way until I got my deposit refund, Jill & Sharon were a pleasure to deal with... very responsive and extremely courteous! Once we arrived, the condo was just as promised, a home away from home, except with a gourgeous view. The great thing about staying here in addition to the onsite amenities, location, location, location. You can't go wrong! From the Hafbrau beer garden, to Jimmy Buffet's, to Shark'ys.... it's all there. Within walking distance, we had putt putt, homeade ice cream, and NY style pizza! You can't beat a beachfront condo with 2 dedicated beach chairs and umbrellas, my wife and I wouldn't have been able to survive without them. Jill, I'm pretty confident in saying we'll be back. Thank you for making our first family vacation so memorable!

Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.Your condo was perfect our family - love all your decorations. We had a peaceful week lounging on the beach and taking in the breezy night on the balcony.What a view!! The sting rays were present every morning, and watching the dolphins in the distance was a real treat. We will definitely be back soon.

We loved it! The condo is great, very nice and has everything you could possibly need. The coupon book compiled for the guests to use while vacationing is a great idea. Jill is wonderful to work with and returned our deposit very quickly. We will visit again.

The best part about the condo was how the ownwers had everything you needed already provided for the renters. As a mom that packs everything from flashlights to beach chairs now I know it's already at the condo for you.It will make my next trip a lot easier. The condo was beautiful,as was the weather. Easy check in and out.Will call and book again....loved it!
