Fripp Island is a private, gated island located at the terminus of US 21 South approximately 30 minutes from the historic town of Beaufort, SC. The minute you arrive at this coastal village, you will be captivated by the wildlife, beauty of the ocean and waterways, and the unspoiled surroundings. Sites that will prove Fripp Island unique to any place you have ever visited are deer along the natural areas, beautiful marsh views that continue for miles, dolphin and birds playing in the waterways and ocean, crabs by the crabbing docks, and the occasional alligator on the bank of a pond on one of the two golf courses on the island, one being designed by Davis Love III. In addition, tennis is available under moss-dripped live oaks on both hard and soft courts.

These reviews are all acurate. My husband and I spent last week here and we absolutely loved it. All appliances worked, the bed was comfortable, the golf cart works as promised, the view of the marsh right out your balcony is very nice, too. Although this house is directly next to the golf cart rental place, we weren't bothered by it, in fact, it was somewhat convenient to walk over to and rent scooters! The proximity to the marina and the golf cart rental place was not a bother for us; however, we were there in the off season... The house is great and well worth the expense, at least in October! The deer and aligators were everywhere.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway.

We love this house and have stayed here several times. Pristine clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bedding, large bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and AMAZING view of the marsh. Plenty of room for our family of 6. On this trip we got to see Dolphins from the master bedroom window! Favorite memories include the morning bike rides, walks on the beach, spotting an alligator, crabbing at night and of course ALL of the golf cart rides! Favorite place to eat is the Boathouse. Highly recommend this home as a lovely place to enjoy beautiful Fripp!

This home is very clean, beautiful, and nicely decorated. Millie was wonderful to work with! I highly recommend this house and Fripp Island. The views of the Marsh from the back deck and bedroom window were amazing! My son loved riding bikes on the island. My daughter's favorite part was all the deer that roam freely. She was amazed at how tame they were. It was so nice to just ride around the island in the golf cart and check out the different pools and views. This is truly an escape. We hope to return many times.

I have stayed at this house several times with my family and we always have a great time. The view is so pretty. We love to watch the boats come and go. The house is clean and nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen. We have enjoyed the free golf cart and bikes as well. I would highly recommend this rental home and FI!

Millie is great to work with. The house was clean and well maintained. We had a great time. Fripp Island is a great vacation place. The best I have seen in my years of vacationing. They offer so many activities for everyone in the family. From the beautiful pools to the beaches - boating, fishing, golfing, tennis, playgrounds for the kids, bike riding etc... I love it there and plan on going back annually.
