We had a wonderful experience at "The Beach House"! It was not easy to find a place with enough room for our two families (3 adults, 4 kids) and we found it here. The whole place had a comfortable feeling; the beds, the layout of rooms, the location right by the beach, the bikes and beach toys in the garage, the ability to throw some clothes in the washer or play a game of ping pong while waiting to go out to dinner! It felt like we were staying in a home, not an impersonal hotel. The view of the ocean from the kitchen sipping morning coffee and hearing the ocean waves at night just added to the experience. Steve is a very nice guy and made sure we had everything we needed while there, he made the whole process easy. We especially liked the location with easy access to the Strand to go for a jog or stroll up a few blocks to shop or dine at a cafe. We ended our trip to California by driving down to Orange County, which was lovely, but we all concluded that it would have been just as wonderful to have stayed at "The Beach House" in Manhattan Beach for the duration. Thank you, Steve and owner Mike for a great stay! Keep up the good work...we will be back!

We really enjoyed the fresh breeze and ocean view from the kitchen with our morning coffee. The location, complimentary bikes and boogie boards,sand toys were perfect for the kids to get out and have good old fashion fun! It made for a relaxing vacation. The house is spacious, beds very comfortable, everything was clean and the management was very nice to work with. Thank you, we can't wait to come back!

This house was a perfect "MB Central" for our multi-generational Thanksgiving family gathering. It was comfortable for entertaining, close to the beach, convenient for grocery shopping and eating out ... and it looks just as good in real life as it does in these photos!

Our family celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary here. Every last one of us felt this experience wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. We had an incredibly relaxing gathering with the Pacific Ocean as our back drop. The amenities and linens were generously apportioned. The wi-fi and printer put information at our fingertips. Stephen, the owner, was sailing off the coast somewhere but was always attentive to our needs. Finally, the proximity to bike/walking paths, downtown, eateries can't be beat. This is a home we would come back to.

This place has it all. Comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, and absolutely everything you need for your stay and more! We were made to feel at home from beginning to end. We cooked, we had guests, we emailed and surfed the net, watched TV, DVD's walked the beach, enjoyed local restaurants. Perfect location, easy access to all we needed. Don't hesitate, just stay and enjoy!

Great house, great location! View of the ocean, steps away from the beach. Two car garage made parking easy. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was a great! Two car garage made parking easy, great view of the ocean, with all the amenities of home. House came with boogie boards and beach cruisers, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in many homes in Manhattan Beach, but this was everyone's favorite! It is very close to the beach, lifeguard station right on 23rd Street, no crowds, you can even see your family swimming from the kitchen windows! This is a very spacious house that sits on a corner so it is very private, quiet and has an open feeling. We would definitely rent this home again!

We had a family of 8 (5 children, 18,17,14,12,8 and 3 adults) at this home for a week and had plenty of room. The house was fully loaded with everything and anything we needed from sunscreen to extra toothbrushes. The location is extremely convenient to the beach and downtown. I have already recommended this exceptional property to friends. Excellent trip.

My family (2 adults and two small children) had an extended stay in June/July and the house greatly exceeded our expectations. The house amenities, proximity to beach and downtown, and views made for a great vacation. Highly recommend.

We had a great two week stay in early August 07. The house was roomy and set up perfectly for a family with 3 boys (10,14,16). The ping pong table and downstairs den made for a perfect place for the boys. In addition, Terry and Mike have stocked the house with all the supplies we needed. Beach towels, boogie boards, bikes, coolers, etc. The kitchen is well stocked. We hosted several extended family dinners. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to go back. Great house, great setting, great vacation.

I stayed at this home last summer and just now realized that I could leave a comment. This place had it all, and if it didn't Steve made sure that it did. He thought of everything a traveler would love to have at the beach...including sunscreen. I highly recommend!
