Location: Newton Lake, Elk Mountain, Endless Mountains, Northeastern Mountains, Pennsylvania, USA (30 minutes from Scranton airport; 2 1/2 hours from NYC;)

This beautiful lake front home was just recently completed in July of 2006. It has top of the line appliances and electronics. Your home away from home. Everything is new and very clean. The basement is actually a bedroom with two queen beds and a sitting room with a fold out couch and TV and bathroom. The sitting room has glass doors that open out to the lake. Our 15 year old son spends a lot of time there!

The main floor is the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, laundry room, and deck. The kitchen is fully equipped. The upstairs is two bedrooms and a bath. The bedrooms are furnished with queen beds with high quality mattresses for a relaxing nights sleep. Everything is provided for you. No need to bring anything except your food and toiletries. After a day on the lake or on the slopes, enjoy a relaxing dinner on your spacious deck overlooking the lake. Newton lake is a private lake and public use is not permitted. It is quiet and peaceful and has great fishing. If your looking for a vacation rental that doesn't feel like a rental home, then you've found your place. Enjoy!

  • The lake house is very clean with beautiful lake view. I had a group of three families went together, everybody enjoyed it very much. The house was exactly as described on the listing. The owner is friendly and easy to communicate. Worth every penny. Highly recommended. We will go back again.
