  We stayed at this gorgeous home for a week in August 2012 and it was delightful. The owners were very pleasant to work with, and they maintain the property meticulously. It was spotless. It is within 1/4 mile walk of a private beach. We have an 18 month old daughter, so it was great to not have to pack the car up and fight the crowds heading to the public beaches. The home appears even bigger than the listed square footage. They include several high powered fans, which combined with the fact that it's so near the ocean negates the need for AC. We were never uncomfortable even in peak August heat, and it was nice having the fresh ocean air flow through the home. Highly recommended!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  Svetlana and John, Thank you for opening your home to us this summer! I'm so glad that John met us at the house to give us the layout of the land and make suggestions about meals. This was the first time that my sister and her family joined us for vacation, and we had a blast! There were plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and space to accomodate the whole family. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and in a great location, just like the pictures. The kitchen table was perfect for us...there were 8 of us and we played cards several evenings while staying in your home. We were close enough to town that we walked in numerous times and were able to enjoy stunning scenery along the way. BUT not too close that we were bothered by traffic. Oh, and my sister wanted to search for sea glass, which we were able to do at the beach behind the house...and we did find several pieces, so the hunt was a success! There were several restaurants in the area that had great food and atmosphere, but I think my favorite meal was the night we bought lobsters and scallops at shop by Mables. We would highly recommend your place to others, and are hoping that you'll be renting again next summer :) Peace, Lynne

  Our family loved your home. The kitchen had every item one would need for cooking a gourmet meal. We brought our own sheets and pans as we were unsure of what we would find and we totally didn't need to. Everything was first class, as were the owners and Russian. We can't wait to go back again. Thank you for opening your home to us.

  Staying at the Lucero house June 20-27 was a delight. The house fit our family well. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient to visit the town. The entire experience went smoothly from booking to checking out. We voted the clam roll to be the preferred quick meal of choice. The beach nearby was close enough although getting kayaks there required some effort. The Cape Porpoise Kitchen was great to get sandwichs and wine. We understand they even deliver if requested. Maybe we can work out a reciprocal week at our Northern Wisconsin lake home.

  Our first pleasant experience on entering this very nice home was the warm and friendly welcome by the owners John and Svetlana Lucero. They were so helpful in giving us restaurant information and directions to interesting spots to visit and beaches. The neighborhood was lovely (with friendly neighbors) and the small private beach was just a few minutes walk from the house. We had a wonderful time and the whole family fell in love with this coastline.As recommended by John we had dinners and lunches at Mabel's (our favorite) and Hurricane - both had very good food. Thank you John and Svetlana and Ruslan for sharing your lovely home with us! Fiona and Axel.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our week long visit to Peaceful Harbor. John and Svetlana are very warm, gracious and accomodating hosts. The home is simply gorgeous and Svetlana and John provided any, and all, amenities needed. We felt very relaxed and "at home" during our stay. We loved the serenity of the neighborhod and took long daily walks/runs along beautiful Ocean Avenue. We just hated to see our fabulous week come to a close.

  This house is really spectacular. Every room was comfortable and convenient for our family. The location is wonderful and the private beach proved wonderful for the kids (and the parents!). The center of Kennebunkport is just a short drive or a nice bike ride from the house. Making arrangements with the owners was really easy and very friendly. We strongly recommmend this house for your next vacation in the area!

  Our family loved staying in this beautiful home. It is in a quiet neighborhood but is only minutes away from great restaurants, shops and beaches. There is plenty of room and lovely amenities. The owners are as lovely as the home is, very friendly and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.
