What a wonderful week in Clearwater! This condo was very roomy. The pictures do not say enough. Everything you need is at this condo. We flew down from Kentucky and rented a car at the airport but you really don't need to. I think when we come back we will not rent a car. Our family made great memories that week. My son proposed marriage to his girlfriend on Pier 60 one night, and we will will never forget this week. Also, Shawn is great! I truly appreciated all the information he gave me prior to our vacation. I knew where all the grocery stores, liquor stores, and restaurants were located before the plane landed and that was very helpful. The location of this condo is perfect. Everything in walking distance. If you are coming to Clearwater, don't look any further, this is the place to stay! When I come back to Clearwater this will definitely be the place I will stay. Thanks, Shawn!

This was just a fantastic property. We had 2 families staying at this condo with 2 adult children, we had ample room. The location was great, we did have a rental car but really only used it to go to get groceries and to the liquor store. Everything was in walking distance (beach, shops, restaurants, and the pier) Shawn had beach chairs, coolers and toys ( not that we used the toys) but we did not need to buy anything for the beach. The property is well-maintained and cared for and its huge. The master suite is enormous with a great view, there are tons of windows through out the condo with views of the gulf. We took tons of pictures of the birds who visited the area and the manatee that came at high tide. This was the visit time we have tried VRBO and we loved it and will do it again and if we are back in Clearwater Beach this will be my condo of choice. I hope this review helps you make your decision in which condo to choose - WE ALL LOVED IT!!!

The condo was even nicer than the pictures on the web site ! It is a huge place, clean and well maintained with a great master room and a fully equipped kitchen.The balcony and many windows have a seaview. The owner provides with a very helpful information summary of the neighbourhood attractions and utilities. The beach is wonderful and really close by. A car may not be absolutely necessary but will sure make your life much easier and your stay more enjoyable. We went for a day to Bush Garden and even spent a day in Dysney World. We enjoyed them both. My family (wife and 2 kids: 19 and 17 ) and I just loved the place and would not hesitate to go back or send friends and family.

Hi Shawn, I just wanted to take a quick second to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Sun West Palms. It's always something of a gamble to select a condo - the "home base" for an entire family vacation - through the internet. There's a lot of stress associated with all of the unknowns involved, and it really comes down to a leap of faith to commit to any particular location. In our case, that gamble paid off handsomely! The condo itself was nothing short of perfect. Beautiful. I guess I don't need to sing its praises to you, you already know how great it is. But I can assure you that for my family of five, it was absolutely the perfect accommodation. The location proved to be equally perfect. We found it to be ideally situated for everyone in the family, from me all the way down to my 10-year-old daughter. I also wanted to let you know that I had the occasion to call Allyson, the property manager, a couple of times during the week and discovered her to be incredibly helpful. She assisted me not only with my requests related to early check-in and late check-out, but she went way above and beyond by providing me with all sorts of helpful information about shopping, activities, directions, and even weather reports to help me make decisions about daily plans!! She was absolutely wonderful! Thanks again for providing a vacation condo that was everything you advertised, and more. It became the foundation for a wonderful family vacation; my kids truly created memories that will live with them for the rest of their lives. I will recommend Sun West Palms to friends of mine who are interested in a Florida vacation, and I may even be lucky enough to come back again myself!

This is an amazing apartment, very modern and well maintained. The owner Shawn is really helpful and provides everything you would need. The instructions Shawn sends are first class and tell you how to get from the airport and about Clearwater itself (restaurants etc). the apartment is two streets from the beach which is beautiful, if not raining and they hold a nightly sunset festival on pier 60 (weather permitting). We drove along the coast to John's pass which has a really nice boardwalk with shops and bars. We also ate at the waterfront pub at Indian Shores which was very nice. Busch gardens was great if you love rollercoasters but avoid Gawzi the wooden one, unless you want whiplash and a blinding headache for two hours after. Overall we loved Clearwater and the apartment was the best we have stayed in, can't wait to go back .

Great Bayfront Condo with easy access to Beach

The condo was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Great location on the bay, close enough to the beach and very spacious. The owner was a pleasure to work with and gave very good information to help make our vacation more enjoyable. The property managers are easily accessible were very helpful when we needed assistance. We really enjoyed a day at Busch Gardens which is about 40 minutes away. An after 12:00 ticket can be purchased at Holiday Inn for a discounted price or purchase the full price ticket from Holiday Inn and get unlimited access for 14 days as well as daily access to the water park. The beach is very family friendly. Great location to fish from the dock. We saw a 5 or 6 foot long manatee that came into the bay during high tide and was only a few feet from the dock. The pool is well maintained and we felt safe in the building that is secured with doors that require a security code to enter the elevators. We recommend Frenchy's seafood restaurant and the one on the beach is the most fun location. Wards Seafood in Clearwater is a great place to get local seafood and they have many items available that are already cooked. We liked the crab cakes made with local blue crab and they were easy to cook. Enjoy watching the sun rise and set from the north facing balcony that overlooks the bay!
