We continue to come back to this lovely home. The owner has exquisite taste in furnishings in every room, especially the patio area where the beautiful lighted tree is housed. The building is well maintained and the staff are very attentive to whatever you may need. We will be returning in June - our fourth time. Jeff is most pleasant to work with and very accommodating to your needs.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+.

The pictures represent this condo perfectly. I have stayed in condos in the past and the pictures don't always reflect the condition of a rental. This place is amazing. Every detail in every room is art eye candy. So beautiful and relaxing. Both beds were dressed in high quality bedding and had comfortable mattresses. The heated pool on the balcony is so relaxing at night. The view at night from the pool is breathtaking. The sounds from the jungle at night are so nice. This place was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped. The gas grill on the balcony makes a nice touch for relaxing at the condo. We purchased chicken and a few groceries at Walmart. It was nice having breakfast, coffee, orange juice on the front patio in the mornings. Of course there are countless great restaurants all around if you don't wish to cook. Safety.......There is so much unfair negative media coverage about safety in Mexico. I have been vacationing in Cancun/PVR 3 times per year since 2008. I feel very safe. The violance you read about in Mexico is mostly the border towns or around Mexico City. And even the drug related violance in these areas are no worse than all the violance and crimes that happen all over the US.

This is a superb condo in the hills above Playa Los Muertos. This was our first PV visit in the 'off season', and it was fascinating to watch the thunder storms roll in every evening. Who cares about a little rain when you're sipping a cold beer submerged in the dipping pool. Very comfortable digs in an upscale area. The jaunts into town were great, especially in the evening when the fireflies helped to light the path down the hills.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

Great PV Experience

A friend and I stayed at Casa Romantique in September 2010 for a week. The place is beautiful, truly a designer showcase. The staff is wonderful and the home is kept spotless. The view is great, the dipping pool is such a nice touch. Both bedrooms are huge, washer/dryer in the unit. The designer kitchen is awesome, we only cooked one meal in, but it's great. It's a short walk down the hill to the beach / town. Taxis are everywhere and inexpensive to get back up the hill. The people of PV are so warm and friendly I'll be back. And even though the Mexican/US border areas are very dangerous at this time, my experience in PV could not have been better. I felt perfectly safe everywhere I went, day or night. This is a wonderful luxury condo in a great vacation spot.

I am a Mexico and Vallarta veteran. Casa Romantique is the best place I have ever stayed. The condo is exquisite in every way...beautiful decorations, details, luxury. The cocktail pool and light up glass tree on the back patio are special treats. The location is absolutely perfect. It takes about 7 minutes to walk down to the beach and you have the added benefit of being up in Amapas which provides a gorgeous view and more privacy. Jeffery is great to work with as is the staff which manages the condo. I just came back and I will be returning in about 6 weeks. Highly recommended. I loved everything about it.

We are nearing the end of our trip and have learned so much. This is my first trip to PV but my friend has been here three times before. It was her idea to rent a condo because she wanted to be close to the Old Town and beach. What was incredible about our stay is that we had plenty of time to explore the town, shop, and engage in a variety of activities without burning out. Our favorite time of day was the evenings because during the summer it is hot. I rained almost daily and the evening light shows were spectacular. The lightening illuminated the sky and occasionally it felt as though the lightening was upon us. Our first night we wandered into town and asked where to eat. Cafe de Olla was recommended. We ate there and loved it. We liked the enchiladas and empanadas. There are trees growing right in the middle of the restaurant. My only warning is "be careful!" I met a lot of people who fell in love with this place and have moved here forever.

This is the evening of our 6th day and we leave reluctantly tomorrow. The condo is simply gorgeous and the view is unbelievable. We worked off all the great food by walking down and back as often as possible ( who needs a gym?) The evenings are so beautiful from the balcony we ate most dinners at home. I love to cook and found most everything at Riso's. Also picked up rotisserie chicken across from Riso's - a trick we learned last summer where we stayed in San Miguel de Allende for 5 weeks. Enadina was most helpful and smiled through our elementary spanish The pool was wonderful and makes me think we will always rent places with our own pool! What luxury in a condo! Especially loved the pirate ship which bombed the harbour each night with fireworks. We always watched the final ones while in the pool.

What a spectacular place to stay. Everything about this place was fabulous, and certainly has the "wow" factor. Enadina (my maid) was superb and always so nice. She's the best! There is a stray cat that visits frequently. We named her "momma cat" as she had a litter of 3 kittens. The kittens have gone, but she visits daily. As we are animal lovers, we put out some dry cat food and water for here every day by the door to the condo. She is a sweetheart. Very friendly. Take care "momma cat" We definitely would stay in this wonderful condo again when we return to PV.

We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. I'm going home with new decorating ideas. What style! This is our first visit to PV and we stayed in a hotel before coming to the condo. It was nice to experience both aspects of PV. Had lunch at the River Cafe today. It was great.
