Seagull Landing is a magnificent three story, five bedroom, three and one half bath home, with an observation tower overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The house, built in 2007, is approximately 3300 square feet under air. Seagull Landing is located in Windmark Beach, St. Joe Company's newest development, in Port St. Joe, Florida. Windmark Beach is in close proximity to downtown Port St. Joe, Mexico Beach, Cape San Blas, and historic Apalachicola.
The main level of this home is an open floor plan with a large fully equipped gourmet kitchen, living and dining room, beautifully decorated and very inviting. Remember, this is a new home, so everything in it is new as well! A laundry room with a full size washer and dryer is adjacent to the kitchen. There is one bedroom on the main level, with its own bathroom, and an additional half bath. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms are large and lively, with mosaic tile on the walls. The master bathroom has a large dual head shower that is absolutely wonderful! At the very top of the house is an observation tower, complete with a bench seat to sit, relax and enjoy the gorgeous views.
A wooden boardwalk in front of the house leads you on a very short walk (about 200 yards) to the Windmark community pool and beach house, which is available to you when you rent our home. There are plenty of teak lounge chairs and tables on the deck, and cabana bathrooms with showers. Best of all, it is just steps from the beach! The beach at Windmark is on the bay, which is somewhat calmer and narrower than the gulf beach, which is only a short distance fron the dock area / pool house. There are several docks at the beach that provide access to the Bay / Gulf and great fishing and boating. The community pool at the village center is also available to our renters.
Seagull Landing is just minutes away from the Windmark Beach village center.

Why the Owner Chose Mexico Beach
My family and I have been vacationing in the area since 2001 and love the slow pace to unwind and the beaches to stroll and relax on.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I walk on the beach, weather permitting, daily when staying at the house.
We find the Windmark Beach location ideal. It is less than 10 minutes to Mexico Beach and 5 minutes to the conveniences in Port St. Joe. We have stayed at the more remote Indian Pass and Cape San Blas, and while beautiful locations, it can take over 20 minutes, each way, to drive to the grocery store and town.

This is a very nice and spacious house. Our family goes to Mexico Beach every year together and this was by far the nicest place we have stayed. It has all of the amenities that you would want. The pool is a short walk away and there is a nice walk way leading from the house to the pool. Windmark beach is very quiet and family oriented. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Absolutely loved the house. Relaxed area with close access to main road. All the members of the group could not believe that this was a rental property. We will use this again when we travel to Port St. Joe. "Best sun-set ever" – the comment made every night by at least one of the group. As for price – one of the best I have found for anything similar in Florida.

The house was perfect for our vacation. Wonderful decoration, furnishings and supplies. I did bring a large frying pan which I couldn't have done without and I would recommend that you furnish one since you have to cook for a large group. We loved Wind Mark, the pool, beach, etc. Will definitely rent again. Thanks for the memories! (Just wish you could control the Tropical Storms!) LOL

We just returned from a great week at Seagull Landing. This was our first time staying in this area and we absolutely loved it. The house was beautiful and absolutely immaculate. The kitchen and living area is laid out perfectly for enjoying family after a day at the beach or pools. I really liked the fact that they had all of the kitchen equipment that you needed to make just about anything your heart desired and they had more than enough dishes and flatware to handle the number of guests that the house sleeps. We have not often found that in the rental houses we have had on the panhandle. The pools were great and I loved taking our grandkids fishing on the pier/dock just outside the pool area at the Owner's Clubhouse. Great sea trout fishing in this area. Surprising number of good restaruant choices in the area as well. If you stay here we would recommend Paul Gant's Barbeque, Joe Mama's Pizza, Pepper's Mexican restaurant, Provisions, and Boondocks at the Windmark Town Center. Everyone agreed that this was our best vacation rental ever. Thanks Joan and Mike for sharing your beautiful home with us for this week ! We appreciate your responsiveness to any question that we had and your desire for us to have a great stay.

My family and I are big fans of Windmark Beach and really enjoyed our recent stay at Seagull Landing. The house feels very new and clean and there is more than enough room to separate yourself from the kids if you want some quiet time. We especially enjoyed the screened porch off the dining room where we could read or eat while enjoying the ocean breeze. There is a quaint boardwalk that that leads from the house to the beach and a very quiet, private-feeling pool. Overall, it was much more than we expected from a rental experience. Joan was accessible to answer all questions before and during our visit. We will definitely stay at this house again!

My parents rented this house a few years back when I was getting married. We had our reception at the pool house which was beautiful. We had our rehearsal dinner at the house and it made for a great time. We would definitely recommend this house. Thanks for the great memories!

A Fantastic Escape only Minutes Away

This was a dream house that provided a fantastic escape while only being minutes away from Tallahassee. It was very roomy, accomodating all ages and everyone loved their own porches! The listing fell short of extolling the wonderful attributes of this house - it was above and beyond our expectations. The owner was so very gracious and accomodating and we couldn't have asked for a better experience all the way around. We hope to make this an annual escape if she'll have us!!
