Fish Boat or just relax. This waterfront hillside ranch is the perfect cozy retreat on 1/3 acre. 1 mile from a small town, population 500+. Bring your own water craft or let us give you a tour on ours. 1 mile from site of first indian massacre, Big Bottom park. Close to the Wilds animal reserve, AEP Recreation lands, Historic Marietta on the Ohio River where route 40 to California started, Blennerhasset Island, Zane Grey Museum in Zanesville, Fenton Glassware Museum and tours, Amish country, the Big Muskie, and more. All day trips within an hour or less. This scenic road is often used for bike tours. Our family has 4 vacation homes in a row. We are 1 mile from the boat ramp and lock, The the last operating lock system in the U.S. Come to where there is always time for board games, picnics, campfires, deer watching and fishing lessons. Where families can create memories that last a lifetime.

  • Linens Provided: All bed linnens, balnkets,are provided there are extras in the linnen closet, plenty of bath and dish towels. Even old beach towels for the dock and water.
  • Garage: The garage is used for storing boat and ski vests,water shoes(check if we have sizes you need), inner tubes, floating island ect.
  • Off Street Parking: There is room to park 6 or more cars if a boat is not parked also
  • Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer: There is space to park boats and trailers, no hook up for an RV
  • Wood Fireplace: Full Brick fireplace in the family/Kitchen combination

  • Lanai: Covered porch with benches that flip and join to make a large picnic table. The ajoinng brick area has the grill
  • Gazebo: Close to the river. The origional owner fished from it on rainy days. My grandchildren have always used it as a play house

  • Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details: The property has 150" of water frontage about 40' from the back porch. It is shallow at this bank so we dock boats next door at our other cabin
