Our beautiful home and retreat is available for caring guests who will appreciate the original artwork and this beautifully furnished home. The house has one large bedroom with private bath with bath/shower and living room and 2 smaller bedrooms with trundle beds that share a bathroom that has a shower. Located in the Baca-where many homes are designed with alternative materials. Set high in the mountains surrounded by 14 thousand foot peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This home was built with concrete and foam and baseboard heat on the first floor.
Origianal and Spiritual Artwork from various traditions abound. Everywhere you look is a feast for your eyes.
We can arrange for bodywork, reflexology, and incredible yoga classes with world renown Ashtanga practitioner: Annie Pace.
This beautiful home retreat is located near many spiritual Ashrams, Buddist retreats, a Carmalite monestary and many more spiritual opportunities, interesting art galleries (one in Crestone and one in Moffat) the Great Sand Dunes National Monument, hiking trails and a choice of 3 fabulous natural hot springs, and white water rafting in nearby Salida. Skiing at Monarch is a little over an hour away.

Crestone is an amazing place with so many retreat centers and extremely interesting people. It is rural, so do not expect to be entertained all the time, but if you enjoy the outdoors, and the quiet, you will love Crestone!
The Unique Benefits of this House
I go for long walks, soak in hot springs that abound in the Valley, shop at the local grocery store and drink coffee with the locals at the deli! I take yoga classes with my teacher Annie Pace.

My experience in this home (a one month retreat in 2008) was satisfying to say the least. Beautiful art, lovely furnishings, a comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and baths, to say nothing of the gorgeous mountain views, all contribute to a feeling of deep peace. This home is well maintained and obviously well loved. I came here to retreat silently, and I will be returning in summer of 2010, but if I ever had the chance to vacation here in Crestone I would gladly choose this home as well.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
