Renovated in 2005, this elegant beach retreat exudes the charm of a bygone era. Built in 1913, just 2 doors from the Atlantic Ocean, you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of waves lapping the shore. Just steps from a private entrance to the best beach in Hull, you are just a morning stroll from a gourmet cup of coffee at the town bakery.
Sunny and spacious, there are ceiling fans throughout to diffuse the sea air. Character abounds from the hardwood floors and crown molding to the original oak fireplace. Tastefully decorated with comfort in mind, there is wireless internet and unlimited local/long distance telephone service for those who cannot afford to abandon reality altogether.
On the first floor you will find a sizeable living room with an ornate gas fireplace for those chilly summer evenings, a full sized sleeper sofa for extra guests, a full service kitchen with every amenity, a dining room with plenty of seating, and a half bath. In the basement (accessible from the first floor), there is a full sized washer and dryer so you don’t have to overpack on extended stays.
On the second floor you will find a large master bedroom with private full bathroom, queen bed, and private balcony for taking in the magnificent ocean views, a second bedroom with queen bed, and another full bathroom.
There is as much to enjoy outside the house as well, starting with the oversized porch with rocking chairs that were made for sipping homemade iced tea on a lazy summer afternoon. The fenced in backyard comes with a gas grill (propane included) and deck furniture just waiting for a summer cookout. And when you come back from a dip in the ocean, there is an outdoor shower to rinse off.
For those days when you want to stay in and relax, there is a flat screen television with cable, a DVD player, and an IPOD docking station.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Minimum rental period is 2 weeks, both in-season and off-season.
January through May and November through December: $1,200/week
June and September through October: $1,800/week
July through August: $2,250/week
Cleaning Fee: $150 (non-refundable)
Security Deposit: $700 (refundable upon satisfactory inspection)
Non-refundable 1/2 rental fee deposit is due with reservation.

Once again, many thanks from all the family for the use of your beautiful house in July. We had a wonderful break by the sea and while the weather was far from perfect, we had no such complaints about the excellent facilities provided in your house in G Street. We appreciated greatly having all the comforts of home (and maybe a little more besides!!!) We will long remember lovely morning strolls along the beach and lazy afternoons on the balcony and porch reading our books while at the same time listening to the waves, which we found very relaxing after the hustle and bustle of our stay in Boston.
