On a small slope descending into the beautiful Eastern Kentucky & Tennessee forests lays the unique Ponderosa cabin. With its elegant sienna-stain and wine-colored roofing, visitors will immediately notice the charisma emanating from this rustic retreat. Upon entering through the deck, the vastly open central-room becomes visible, revealing rustic wooden sidings and stone-tile floors. The cathedral ceiling towers over the room, offering an unrivaled feeling of well-lit comfort.

A classic red-brick fireplace with a hand-crafted, unfinished mantle personalizes the room with radiating coziness, while being adjacent to the huge windows that offer a view of the huge deck and lush habitat. The opposite side of the room contains the massive kitchen with a pentagonal, wooden bar--perfect for accommodating large numbers of guests. A dining sun-room borders the kitchen, allowing guests to escape the huge room to enjoy the cozy, warming light that is certain to fill the space.

Adjacent to either side of the central room are two sylvan corridors that lead to large, fully-furnished bedrooms. Each bedroom contains a private restroom and deck formulated magnificently to allow the soothing rays of sunrise to enter at the break of dawn. Visitors will certainly find it difficult not to enjoy a stay at such a beautiful location, and with the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and Daniel Boone National Forest bordering their doorstep, a unique and unequaled experience is certain to be embraced!
