You can't get any closer to the beach and ocean without being in it! There are unobstructed views of the ocean and the other islands from the lanai and the master bedroom. The constant sounds of the waves are very relaxing (and are noticeably missing upon our return home). Peter is very easy to work with and responds to emails promptly. The unit is in great shape and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and blend drinks. Kahana is a great location. The condo unit is away from all the traffic and tourist traps, but essentials (coffee shop, gas, dive shops, Times Supermarket) are all extremely close. Roy's and Maui Brewing are right around the corner. Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua are within miles, and central and south Maui are a beautiful and quick 40 minute drive away. There are two beaches at the foot of the lanai which are relatively "private." We also enjoyed going to Kapalua and Napili beaches, which were a 5 minute drive away. Really enjoyed our time in Maui, and having this great condo to go home to every night made the trip even better!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. The condo is very spacious and has great ocean views. The MBR does indeed have views of the ocean that you would normally pay 2 or 3 times more for. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of waves crashing right in front of you is priceless! The beach isn't huge but it was perfect for my 4 year old to build sand castles, and the surf isn't overly strong so I never worried about her. Overall I think only 4 or 5 units in the property were rented while we were there, so most of the time we had the pool to ourselves when we used it. The BBQ's worked great too. Just a 30 second walk back to the unit for dinner on the Lanai overlooking the water. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance,and its only a short drive to Kaanapali or Lahaina where the action is. I will definitely return here. The combination of proximity to everything with feeling like you're still away from it all is hard to find. Add in oceanfront and it can't be beat.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We brought my husband's 80 year old parents and our 27 year old son for their first visit to Maui. This condo was absolutely perfect. It was clean, had everything we needed, was convenient to everything and the view from our unit was breathtaking. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a trip to Maui. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great time at Kahana 3A2 with our family. It felt like we were at home with everything you need. The views from the bedrooms were exceptional felt like we were on a cruise the ocean was so close. The 180 degree views of ocean and islands were amazing. We had our own sandy beach that we used every night at sunset as we all shared a bottle of wine. The trade winds brought a nice breeze that kept us cool. The air conditioners worked great. The pool was really nice we used that in the afternoons and evenings. The grounds were kept up beautifully and the gentlemen that takes care of the Outrigger was so nice and never bothered us. All in all we would recommend this unit to all of our friends and family. Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time staying at your condo. We slept each night to the beautiful sound of the ocean. It was peaceful, quiet and very very relaxing. We spent the week at the condo with our grown children and then went to the Westin for a few more days. We were disappointed in the Westin, for what we paid and wished we would have just stayed on at the condo. I will certainly give a good reference to my friends and anyone else .
