Beautiful 2 bedroom rental cabin built in 2004. The interior of the cabin has hardwood floors & ceilings, lovely windows and a stacked stone fireplace. The fireplace is gas powered and operates by remote control, making it extremely easy to use in addition to being a stunning feature. Our cabin includes modern conveniences such as central heat & air, a satellite LCD TV, full size washer & dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and ceiling fans in every room. The cabin is nicely decorated with new furnishings. French doors open to the large deck where you can eat breakfast relaxing to the sounds of the flowing creek below. Bring marshmallows to roast in the fire pit!
Our cabin is located on one and one half acres, just ten minutes from downtown Murphy. It is easily accessible (all state maintained roads and all but the last 1/4 mile are paved), yet only minutes from restaurants, shopping and activities. Popular area activities include white water rafting on the Nantahala and Ocoee rivers, boating/fishing on area lakes and rivers, golf, horseback riding, sightseeing and antiquing. Day trips from Murphy include the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Biltmore Estate in Ashville, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. The cabin has a guidebook with brochures from many local restaurants, shops and attractions to help with your vacation planning. The cabin is fully stocked including dishes, pots & pans, linens, and a hairdryer - just bring your toothbrush.
