We where in Johnson City for a 10 under softball tournament. The location was perfect for our visit. This cabin was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities of home. The owners have decorated this cabin like something out of SouthernLiving magazine. It is in a beautiful gated property that was secluded, but so close to everything you would ever need. We had a Great Time! Thank You

Beautiful, Peaceful and Clean

This place is great. The owner is pleasant and accommodating and has provided one of the cleanest homes I have ever stayed in. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Set in a great location--secluded but still convenient to all the restaurants and attractions. The entrance gate provides a sense of security. I can highly recommend this vacation rental.

Sweet Dreams

This is a darling cottage with plenty of room. We had 6 adults and one 7 year old staying there. We were attending a convention at Freedom Hall at the College. The cottage was less than 5 miles from there, and what a transformation to drive from the city and in less than 15 minutes be in a beautiful, relaxing setting in the woods. It was very easy to find. It was also very clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there visiting with family and relaxing in the evening. The description was very accurate, and we would recommend it to others.

Anniversary Retreat

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at this wonderful cottage retreat while we visited Johnson City to see the Gaither Vocal Band. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home was comfortable, spacious, and centrally located. Most importantly, it was very clean. The grounds are secured by a gated entrance and made us feel safe as we relaxed in the wooded setting. Mariea was easy to work with and very accomodating. The welcome gift of chocolates and cookies was very kind. we would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family. We enjoyed Earthfare Supermarket for organic groceries and had great fun at Scratch Brick Oven Foodworks where we enjoyed a unique "Trust Me" pizza. Eastern Tennessee & Johnson City are beautiful and offer great attractions. Heartfelt thanks to Mariea for helping make or journey a memorable one. Tom & Kyle Ann

Owner response:We do have so many attractions in our are that are located within a 30-40 minute drive of the cottages. Like Bristol Motor Speedway, Jonesborough Tennessee's oldest town and 2 different parts of North Carolina and Virginia. Come see what Tennessee can show you!!!

Jim and Mariea's cottage is an awesome getaway! The decor was incredible and the setting is ideal, you feel as though you are far away from everything but you are actually right in the middle of the city in the mountains.

Mississippi Travelars

This property and the other cabins adjacent to it are absolutely amazing! My whole family reunited here to visit my son at ETSU. We hiked the beautiful trails and put in a full day. Most of all, just sat on the porch and talked and soaked up the incredible views. The cabin itself is charming. Very well furnished with tasteful peices that reflect the area and God's love for his children. We found everything needed to prepare our meals there, slept great to the quite nature that surrounded us. Thanks to Jack and Mariea for this wonderful experience. We will be back!!!

Gorgeous Getaway

What a wonderful place! It gives you a sense of being away from it all, while still being minutes from everything you need. The hosts are so accomodating and make your stay as homey as possible. You can't beat the price and it truly is a home away from home. I would definitely reccomend staying at Raccoon Ridge to anyone staying in Johnson City and wanting something much better than a boring hotel room.

This cottage was even better than the photos! The owners have thought of everything you need to enjoy your time. Access is easy and it is a true country setting but close enough to town that you don't have to think about taking a drive. The cottage was very clean and there was wood for a fire just waiting for us to use. There are plenty of restaurants nearby but with a complete kitchen it was nice just to cook and sit out on the patio while enjoying the view! We will be back!

Our stay at the Raccoon Ridge Cottage was wonderful. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. It was decorated beautifully and the owners thought of every detail. The location met our needs - 10 minutes from anything we needed, but also private. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing get away.

For all users viewing this, I cannot express how very pleased my husband and I were with this vacation rental. It was very warm and inviting as well as exceptionally clean and maintained. If you are planning on visiting the Johnson City, TN area I would highly recommend this rental. It was far beyond my expectations.
