This sophisticated beach retreat is tastefully decorated and ideally situated in Old Florida Village. You will be enchanted by the lush landscaping, swaying palm trees and white picket fences of OFV...our home is next to one of two parks in the community, just steps away from the largest of two pools and a short stroll to the sugar white beaches of Santa Rosa Beach on Florida's Emerald Coast, where easy beach access is often uncrowded. Your pets and children will love the fenced and newly sodded backyard... and you will love morning coffee, afternoon cocktails and cool coastal breezes on any of our 3 porches.
Lazy Lizards is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, three story cottage that comfortably sleeps ten.
It features an open floor plan ideal for entertaining and spending time with family and friends. The First floor includes an open kitchen/living/dining room with a deck for outdoor relaxing and a gorgeous lake view, a full bath with shower, as well as a Queen bedroom with flat screen TV and its own private balcony. The well-appointed kitchen, with granite countertops and a fabulous DEEP sink, provides all the conveniences of home in a bright and cheery atmosphere. The Second floor offers a Master Suite with a King bed, flat screen TV, and recently renovated full bath with large, tiled shower, granite countertop and a private screened porch with a breathtaking lake view. This floor also features the third bedroom, a Queen, with bath, flat screen TV and private balcony. The washer/dryer are located on this floor, too. The Third floor Tower room features the 4th bedroom and is an ideal kids room, with 4 twin beds and TV/CD player, it's a perfect place for XBOX tournaments and slumber parties with cousins and new friends.
No convenience has been overlooked in this beautifully decorated home. High speed internet access and free wifi allows our guests to work out of the home if they so choose.
An extensive bike path from San Destin through Seaside, and State Park Trails are just outside the entrance to Old Florida Village.
We're located close to Seaside, Grayton Beach and Gulf Place where you can explore fabulous art galleries and an array of funky shops, and also experience live theatre, outdoor music and movies, and world class dining. It's only a 10 minute drive to Silver Sands, the South's largest Outlet mall, and 30 minutes to both Destin Commons Mall (to the West) and Pier Park, Panama City's newest entertainment mall (to the East).

Our stay at Lazy Lizards was perfect. The home itself is lovely - very clean, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. Diane was a delight to deal with - very accommodating and excellent at communicating all the things we needed to know about the property. I loved the setting in Old Florida Village, too - it's secluded in that it's set back off of 30A but it's so accessible to everything that I felt we had the perfect balance of privacy and access. The whole stretch of beaches along 30A seems very safe, and I felt completely comfortable letting my teens and tweens ride bikes and swim as a group without adult supervision. The adults had fun, too - there are so many great shops and restaurants in the area. Overall, we just had a great time and look forward to a return visit to Lazy Lizards!

When we booked Lazy Lizards we really hit the jackpot! It is beautifully appointed and cared for. Even better than the photos. And, the landlord could not be more helpful or accommodating. Inside and out it was delightful! Loved the floor plan, the way the kitchen worked, the washer/dryer, and the three balconies were lovely places to relax when not bike riding around the adorable, quiet, friendly neighborhood, or lounging at beach or pool! Oh, and with the fenced in back yard, our Yorkies loved it too. It's close to a grocery and drugstore, the outlets and movies are nearby, and the shopping/dining area called Gulf Place (as well as Goatfeathers restaurant/seafood market) provide both convenience and ambiance. Other pluses were the ease and availability for renting beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes and baby gear. We've gone to the panhandle for years and I would pick this over any other development. Already looking at the next 12 months of our calendar to book it!

This home was very nice, comfortable, and well equipped. We enjoyed the multiple porches and beautiful setting next to the park and the lake. It was a pretty long walk to the beach but the pools were very close and convenient. This development is very family friendly with lots of room for the kids to ride their bikes.

REVIEW A well laid out house with a wonderful decor and great landscaping. Spacious, clean and well maintained. Pet friendly with large fenced in yard. Quiet street located in a dog friendly neighborhood. They provide the clean-up bags! Great access to.... several large shopping malls;good restaurants; bike and hiking path and churches. Two beaches within walking distance. Perfect location for walkers or bikers. Easy access to Panama City airport for guest and family. We're already singed up for our fourth year in Old Florida Villages. What's not to love? Tom
