We enjoyed visiting friends at a family wedding. We explored Sea World, the Midway, Seaport Village and golfing. Our family enjoyed breakfast at Brockton Villa, the walk to the La Jolla Cove and watching the wildlife at the Children's Pool. This was a great vacation for our family. Loved the house and the location! Beautiful weather - Blue sky, sunny, always a breeze. We hiked at the Torrey Pines Reserve - beautiful scenery. We enjoyed Balboa Park, organ concerts and the Sunday music concerts at the La Jolla Cove.

The property is absolutely great and in a quiet area. It is ideally located, well appointed, very spacious and extremely clean. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the San Diego area. We look forward to coming back. Betty was wonderful to deal with and quite thorough. The property was as described and more. The view of the ocean from the master bedroom was great and the sounds of the waves were magical. The beds were very comfortable and the jacuzzi was a nice touch after exploring all day. Thank you so much for making our trip a memorable one.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was a wonderful place for our family to come for a winter break and to welcome in the New Year. Such a convenient and beautiful spot. On this trip we got to enjoy the sights & sounds of the San Diego area with our young adult children. We had a nice mix of "touristy things" and just being...sunlit patio breakfasts, moonlight beach walks, movies, games etc. We loved it all.

My family and I enjoyed staying in this home for the week. We especially liked being close to the beach and visiting places of interest in close proximity such as La Jolla Cove. It was also quite close in traveling distance to the town of San Diego and island of Coronado, where we visited Balboa Park, restaurants such as C-Level (great view of skyline) and Buon Appetito (fantastic Italian food), and Coronado Beach, with its pretty, white powdery sand. The home was clean, well-maintained, with ample amenities, kitchen and bathrooms well-stocked, and a layout that flowed well, which provided a comfortable stay. Prior to our visit, the owner was accomodating and helpful, answering all our questions about her home and the surrounding area. This is an ideal home-away-from-home and, without hesitation, I would recommend it to a friend or relative for a family vacation.

Terrific Family Rental - Great Experience

My wife and I rented the property for a week to do the things one does with 3 kids in the greater San Diego area. The house is literally a 20 second walk to the beach which is priceless if you have kids. The house is kept in good shape with a master bedroom on top and 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor. Overall it has a very good layout. Hot tub out back was a great way to end the days. Food is very nearby but the house itself is in a very quiet area. The check-in experience was great and we would definitely come back. Decent value as compared to comparable suite options.

A lovely home and well kept. the descriptions were all accurate Our arrival was met with fresh flowers and a fruit basket.very nice. My family enjoyed everything. I would stay there again and Would recommend the property to a friend.The only negative is the house they are building across the street. It certainly makes a difference in the view. The owner was pleasant and gave clear info.The manager was also very nice. Thank-you for a wonderful vacation

Everything that we could have needed was there. The house was hospitable and clean. Very close the water - we would love to stay there again. Highly, HIghly recommend this home for anyone thinking of renting a home in La Jolla! The owners help us feel at home with a very lovely fruit basket when we arrived, it's all the little things that add up to a great rental!

Fabulous La Jolla Vacation Rental

My family loved staying here. We rented because my Son got married at the Catamaran so we decided to combine the wedding with a family reunion/vacation. This house was awesome--impeccably clean. Everything we needed was provided. Everyone in my party was impressed. The beach was gorgeous, loved watching the surfers and the seals at the Cove. Restaurants galore, lots of shopping, friendly people. We visited Cabrillo Memorial (very moving and unforgettable view), Point Loma (saw nuclear subs coming into port escorted by the Coast Guard-very exciting-made us proud to be Americans), Coronado Island (visited the Del). We could have seen so much more but we ran out of time. My deposit was returned within a few days of leaving the property. This home was perfect and I will definately rent here again. I would recommend this property to my friends, in fact I already have (but I don't want them to get my dates).

My husband, parents, and two-year old son had a wonderful stay in Betty's LaJolla home. It is so comfortable, beautifully decorated, and provides easy access to the beach and downtown LaJolla. The back garden is so peaceful, as is the view from the master bedroom. We highly recommend this home!
