This is the ideal "pied a terre" for lovers of French food, wine, culture and scenery. The apartment is located in a historic 16th century building in a medieval town boasting no less than five excellent boulangeries and patisseries! Wake up each morning to the smell of fresh, warm baguettes and croissants.

Located on "Rue du port," it adjoins the Saone River, offering scenic walks, bike and driving routes. You'll need some exercise to work off the great food you'll be eating!

Although the apartment has been fully modernised, it tastefully reflects its historic roots, with three original stone fireplaces, stone details, exposed roof beams as well as some period furniture. Ideal for one or two couples or small, mature family.

The kitchen/dining is fully functioning and large. In fact, the apartment is very spacious, as is the nature of medieval architecture. The toilet is in a separate room, a la francaise. The bathroom offers a large two-person bathtub, double sinks and tiled floors, with a clotheswasher in an adjoining alcove.

In the back of the apartment, a small private interior court provides a place to soak up the sun and atmosphere of this heaven on earth.

Located near Lyon, it is easily accessible by car or public transport from the international "St. Exupery" airport or "Perrache" train station.
