Owner Description
I, (Diane) was born and raised in this area and went to school at West Side/ Greers Ferry then finishing at Heber Spring High School. This was my mother's home. Tom and I decided to change it to a Vacation Rental Home so others could see what a beautiful area Heber Springs AR is. We use it to enjoy visits with family members that still live in Heber Springs and the Greers Ferry Area.
After the loss of our youngest daughter from melanoma cancer, we are raising 2 of our 5 grandchildren so we can't use the home for retirement as early as we had planned. That gives "all of you guest" more time to enjoy "TwinsAcres" and Heber Springs AR.

Over the years I watched Heber Springs turn into a very beautiful place to vacation. I watched the rivers over flow which turned land into a wonderland for tourist. This was my mom's home and am sure she would be proud knowing so many people are enjoying her home and land as much as she did. So many different areas of interest; golfing, Fishing for trout in the Little Red River or catching big bass and catfish from Greers Ferry Lake, Enjoying a day on the lake sightseeing the beautiful sites and swimming in the clear, clean waters of the lake. Skiing or tubing, what fun!!!!!! Mountain climbing Sugarloaf Mt. or Shop til you Drop!!!! Or maybe just sit in the swing and enjoy the wonders of nature right in the front and back yards. I call it "A Little Piece of Heaven."
The Unique Benefits of this House
TwinsAcres is close to everything offered in the area. Shopping the unique gift shops in the downtown area and surrounding areas, golfing the beautiful courses, catching our limit of fish from the Little Red River or Greers Ferry Lake, Sandy Beach, Enjoying the Cardboard Boat Races usually held at Sandy Beach area the last weekend of July, watching one of the best 4 of July fireworks display in Arkansas. Walking the Mossy Bluff Trails, Collins Creek, or other nature trails in the area, Tour the Dam, then enjoy the Fish Hatchery, stop in at the Welcome center at the Dam and see how this beautiful town and lake were developed. "A must do" is see the town from atop Sugarloaf Mountain. You'll have a Kodak Moment up there, Beautiful view of the town and area. You can also walk the trails on Sugarloaf in the Lake, you will need to have boat access for this adventure. Just too many things to enter here for your enjoyment in this Beautiful town of Heber Springs AR.

THIS IS AN AWSOME PLACE. I RECOMEND IT TO ALL WHO LIKE TO CLOSE TO THE THINGS OF NATURE AND THE WONDERS OF GOD. THE LAKES ARE BEAUTIFUL. FISH HATCHERY GREAT. AT THIS HOME WE SAW AT LEAST 8 DEER. MOM WITH 2 BABIES AT RIGHT AT THE BACK POARCH. WE WILL COME AGAIN. WE MET OUR CHILDREN & GRANDKIIDS THERE AND WHAT A BLAST TO WATCH THE BOYS WHEN THEY SAW THE BABY DEER. THE OLDEST WHICH IS AFRAID OF HEIGHTS JUMPED OF CLIFF AT THE SWIN HOLE ON THE LAKE. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR SHARING SUCH A WONERFUL, PEACEFUL & LOVELY HOME WITH OTHERS.

We have lost count of how many times we have stayed at TwinAcres. It is such a comforable, relaxing, and enjoyable place. Each room is nice and cozy. The kitchen is great and stocked so nice. The living room has all the comforts of home. The acres of land around is just breathtaking. Last time we bought a bag of deer food at Wal-Mart and the next morning we had about 12 deer. Each morning we would wake up excited to see who was outside eating the corn. This was also the place that my 1 year old son held his first turtle. We found it in the backyard. Heber Springs is our second home and we love having our second home "TwinAcres" there. See ya again real soon, Tina

Hello, This is way overdue, but just wanted you to know that we stayed at TwinsAcres in November and enjoyed it so much. We had dreaded the thought of being cooped up in a hotel room for the weekend while we were there to attend a reception for old friends. The house was a perfect place for us to stay with our four children. Our boys enjoyed the backyard so much they asked if we could buy the house and live there. Diane, It was wonderful to stay at TwinsAcres. We all had so much fun that none of us wanted to come back! We all wish we could stay more there! We did not get to see the cardboard race, but we have been told about it, because we went to rent a boat and it was all reserved and booked in couple of places for that occasion. We rented the house for our 14 family members who were in town for graduation. Not once were we cramped or uncomfortable. The house was clean and roomy and had a calm and comfortable feel to it. I would recommend this home highly to anyone who wishes to get away yet still feel as if they are in their own home.

Thanks so much!! We had a wonderful stay in your home. It is exactly as pictured. We plan to stay there in the future when we have more family reunions in Arkansas or Louisianna... we don't care if we have to drive a little farther, we really enjoyed staying there! Oh yeah, I made it up Sugarloaf mountain!! I wasn't sure I would be able to because I have alot of back pain, but I done it!! WOO HOO I even climbed some of the rocks to get up to the top. It was so beautiful ~ I have some great pictures! Thanks again!! P.S. I am still trying to get information about that water in spring park.. I brought back several gallons. ha ha Rhonda

DIANE- MY HUSBAND AND I RENTED YOUR HOUSE THIS PAST WEEKEND AND I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WE ENJOYED IT. IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SETTING AND WE SAW DEER EVERYDAY IN THE BACK YARD AND/OR ON THE WAY TO THE LAKE. WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME THERE AND THE KIDS HAD A GOOD TIME ON THE SWING SET.I SEE NOW WHY YOUR MOM LOVED HER HOME. WE HAD OTHER FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME IN ON SATURDAY AND THEY COULD NOT GET OVER THE FACT THAT IT WAS ONLY 75.00 A NIGHT.WE HAD PLENTY OF ROOM AND THE HOUSE WAS WELL EQUIPPED.
