I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your vacation stay at The Vacation Place at Blue Lake! We have had many visitors and repeat customers. Our apartment is located in beautiful Deland, Florida. The location is excellent for a trip to the theme parks, nature lovers, or beach goers!
Our Lakefront Vacation Place is nestled in between four wooded acres on beautiful Blue Lake. While staying at our vacation rental, you can enjoy countless peaceful and relaxing hours just listening to the sounds of nature. We have a resident pair of owls, sandhill cranes, and a pair of osprey on our property.
Blue Lake is natural spring fed lake that is connected by canals to two larger lakes: South Lake Talmadge and North Lake Talmadge. Paddleboat is available on site. If fishing is your forte, grab a pole and head down to the dock for the best fishing site on the lake.
Nearby Nature Adventures:
For more nature adventures, you can take a short trip to one of the many parks and springs in the area. If the coast is what you like, you can choose from several beaches nearby. Go snorkeling, hiking, biking, swimming...there are endless choices for outdoor enthusiasts!
Right around the corner:
Just a five minute drive downtown takes you to our Historic Downtown Shopping and restaurant area. Just a 5 minute drive north takes you to Skydive Deland, where you can have the experience of a lifetime tandem skydiving with the best skydivers in the world!
Museums and other cultural attractions:
There are many museums nearby and in Daytona Beach area. We have the Deland Museum of the Arts and Theatre right downtown for your enjoyment. In addition to our local museum, you can take a short drive to Museum of Arts and Sciences, Orlando Museum of Art, or the Orlando Science Center.
Theme Parks Galore...
If you like the Disney theme parks, you can take an 45 minute drive to Orlando and visit Disney's Magic Kingdom, MGM, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom. Other theme parks in Orlando include: Universal, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Cypress Gardens, Islands of Adventure, and many others.
While you are here, enjoy our apartment features....
This apartment features a large carpeted family room that includes a reclining leather couch with a 50" high def TV, cable, DVD, VCR, and an extensive video library for adults and children. Bring your wireless laptop and hook up to our highspeed internet. The full kitchen has a full-size stackable washer/dryer (along with an outside line for hanging clothing), dishwasher, microwave, glass top range and convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker, kitchen table (seats 4) and a granite countertop eating area (also seats 4). All cooking utensils,dishes, pots, and bakeware are provided. The bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds, one full-size tempurpedic bed, dresser, large closet, and a balcony. There is an additional TV in the bedroom with a VCR for viewing. One full-size bathroom with double sink - shower only completes the apartment. All linens are provided, including beach towels. Central A/C and ceiling fans throughout. Sleeps up to 6 persons.

1-2 occ. - $75 USD per night (3 night minimum stay)
3-4 occ. - $125 USD per night (3 night minimum stay)
5-6 occ. - $175 USD per night (3 night minimum stay)
Monthly rental: 2 person $995.00, 3 per. $1440, 4 per. $1920 USD
Deposit for rentals: $100 - balance due upon arrival.
Security deposit (returned upon inspection) $50.00
Deposits are not refundable within 2 weeks of reservation.
Rental prices includes electricity, cable TV, water and wireless internet access.

The solitude of the lake at the end of the garden is great for reading, thinking, fishing. Ideally situated for east coast and easy to get to West Coast, Orlando is only 1 hour away. Very comfortable accomodation. Quality place.
