Our luxury "Tommy Bahama" home is on an upscale cul de sac off the best street in Cardiff. Perched high atop a bluff with sweeping views of lagoon and natural habitat areas...Back country views to the horse ranches and multi million dollar mansions of Rancho Santa Fe out the back of the home, and an ocean view from the upstairs front rooms. This home was completely remodeled (down to the framing, plumbing & electrical) in 2005 with new windows, doors and Koa Wood floors throughout. You can rest assured that our home is fresh and pristine...a true slice of heaven.
THIS HOME IS IMMACULATE-...WE TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN OUR HOME...IT IS CLUTTER FREE...You will NOT feel like you are in someone's space! The furniture and rugs are cleaned often. Windows and screens are professionally cleaned 3x per year.

An eat-in chef's kitchen adjoins the large family room with 50" plasma TV with surround sound. French doors open from the formal dining room and family room into the resort style backyard with pool, Jacuzzi, play set, expansive lawn, beautiful eating area and stainless barbeque. In the summer the hibiscus, fragrant plumeria and gardenia are blooming...you really feel like you are in Hawaii!
The back yard is wired, so you can play your favorite music while you are dining al fresco or swimming in the pool! Our stereo system allows you to dock your ipod...bring your own music or enjoy our extensive collection!
A deluxe play structure on side hard has a slide, 2 swings, fort and picnic bench for the kids!
a WII with family pak are included for your enjoyment and fun vacation memories!
The upstairs is great for family living... the master bedroom is a fabulous retreat overlooking the San Elijo Lagoon. Enjoy the spacious bathroom of travertine and tumbled marble. There are two sinks, an oversized shower and separate oversized soaking tub (no jets to harbor nasty bacteria). It's spa-like! A french door leads you out to the huge balcony, where you can relax and read a book and watch the hot air balloons float overhead.
Our home is one mile from the famous Cardiff Reef (PARKING PASS INCLUDED) and the downtown area of Cardiff with boutiques, 3 brand new restaurants, an upscale wine bar and a gourmet market. We are ten minutes from Legoland and the legendary Del Mar Racetrack as well as upscale Rancho Santa Fe. We are twenty minutes from La Jolla and thirty from the newly renovated downtown Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego.

Seaside Market...a gourmet's delight...right down the hill...you can buy prepared or semi prepared food there for those of you who don't really want to cook on vacation!
Zenbu Sushi, Remmels Rotisserie, Wine Steals, Pipes Cafe...all unique restaurants a mile down the hill.

We love Cardiff-by-the-Sea...an artistic, eclectic town...a little gem within San Diego. We are a family of 4 and purchased this home because of its large yard, gorgeous views, swimming pool and comfortable floor plan, and most of all because of the safe, wonderful neighborhood. Before moving into the home, we tore it almost completely down, added 1,000 square feet, added new plumbing, electricity, all appliances, flooring, bathtubs, toilets, etc. and completely remodeled the pool. We now have a wonderful "new" home and feel comfortable renting it because it is so fresh, and the chances of renters having any issues are minimal because it's so new! The home is now available for rentals year-round...inquire about longer stays!

We enjoyed Thanksgiving together there with the whole family. The home has a well stocked kitchen lots of games great view and close to the beach. We hope to come back soon weather is better than michigan

We rented this great house in Cardiff by the Sea over the 4th of July. This was our best vacation rental experience yet. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with great views from the back yard. It's a beautiful home that was well suited to my family with 3 small kids. We really enjoyed the Cardiff beach and the whole area. Hope to be back again next year.

We had a wonderful time with our family staying here. The house is beautiful with a great yard and pool area, and as well a great view. The beds are comfy too! This home is an incredible place to spend a family vacation. The family room and kitchen are larger than the pictures show. The home is so clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect and although we were in a neighborhood, it felt very private. It only took a few minutes to get to the ocean.The back yard and pool were perfect for our night time dinners. We left the home very clean and our deposit was returned promptly!

We resided in the home this summer for 2 weeks. What a find! The home was impeccably clean and the owners were so nice to deal with. Our deposit was returned promptly. Perfect back yard for famillies...the pool is wonderful! Beds were comfortable, nice linens. Quiet location on a cul de sac and very close to beach, restaurants, market, etc. Thanks for a fabulous time!

Susan/Wes - Thank you so much for renting us your lovely home. Everything was just perfect and so very clean! There were 10 of us and the house was large enough to not get in each other's way. The kids had a great time hot tubbing and swimming whenever they felt the need. Thanks again for everything. You were so good about communicating with us and answered all our questions beforehand. By the way, do you have smaller places to rent - like for 2??

We rented the house in September for our backyard wedding and had a great time. The house was what we were looking for. Very clean and spacious. The owner removed all personal belongings in the house prior to us arriving. The backyard is very spacious and has a remarkable view. Overall, it was a great experience!

7/26/2008-8/2/2008 My family visited the area for recreational vacation. We enjoyed local sights and amusement parks and found this location to be extremely convenient. We traveled with our two daughters (ages 2 and 6). My 6 year old, of course, adored the fairytale bunkbed. The pool and backyard were exceptional. The property was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Thank you so much for sharing your home....it makes traveling with younger children much more enjoyable.
