We had 4 generations share this wonderful home for a week and a memorable time was had by all. Having lived in the area for many years,our vacation included visiting with friends that we had not seen in a while. The home's size and open layout allowed us to entertain friends with such comfort and grace it was truly a home away from home. this home stands out as a vacation rental. I highly recommend this property and hopefully will return again.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving together there with the whole family. The home has a well stocked kitchen lots of games great view and close to the beach. We hope to come back soon weather is better than michigan

We rented this great house in Cardiff by the Sea over the 4th of July. This was our best vacation rental experience yet. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with great views from the back yard. It's a beautiful home that was well suited to my family with 3 small kids. We really enjoyed the Cardiff beach and the whole area. Hope to be back again next year.

We had a wonderful time with our family staying here. The house is beautiful with a great yard and pool area, and as well a great view. The beds are comfy too! The owners were very easy to work with, Thanks for sharing such a beautiful home so we could create great family memories. We LOVE Cardiff!!

This home is an incredible place to spend a family vacation. The family room and kitchen are larger than the pictures show. The home is so clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect and although we were in a neighborhood, it felt very private. It only took a few minutes to get to the ocean.The back yard and pool were perfect for our night time dinners. We left the home very clean and our deposit was returned promptly!

We resided in the home this summer for 2 weeks. What a find! The home was impeccably clean and the owners were so nice to deal with. Our deposit was returned promptly. Perfect back yard for famillies...the pool is wonderful! Beds were comfortable, nice linens. Quiet location on a cul de sac and very close to beach, restaurants, market, etc. Thanks for a fabulous time!

Susan/Wes - Thank you so much for renting us your lovely home. Everything was just perfect and so very clean! There were 10 of us and the house was large enough to not get in each other's way. The kids had a great time hot tubbing and swimming whenever they felt the need. Thanks again for everything. You were so good about communicating with us and answered all our questions beforehand. By the way, do you have smaller places to rent - like for 2??

Owner response:We do have a smaller place...on MAUI! We have a studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom on the beach in Kaanapali at the Kaanapali Ocean Villas.

We rented the house in September for our backyard wedding and had a great time. The house was what we were looking for. Very clean and spacious. The owner removed all personal belongings in the house prior to us arriving. The backyard is very spacious and has a remarkable view. Overall, it was a great experience!

Owner response:Our back yard is perfect for intimate weddings or other special occasions. Out of respect for our neighbors, we limit these to 2 per year. Please contact us if you would like to see photos of these events.

7/26/2008-8/2/2008 My family visited the area for recreational vacation. We enjoyed local sights and amusement parks and found this location to be extremely convenient. We traveled with our two daughters (ages 2 and 6). My 6 year old, of course, adored the fairytale bunkbed. The pool and backyard were exceptional. The property was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Thank you so much for sharing your home....it makes traveling with younger children much more enjoyable.

Very nice home in a quiet area. We did the "family" vacation (Sea World, Zoo, Disneyland) and at times the best part of the day was coming back home! Kids could play in the pool, while we could enjoy a glass of wine and BBQ. Great location...easy access to area spots. Place was very clean and relaxing. We will stay again whenever we return to the area.

We had a great time at the house. The play area is wonderful and tailored to little princesses! Pool is great and the house is wonderful. The two weeks passed much to quick! The deposit is quite on the high side, which made us nervous, but eventually everything went very well, flexible and reliable. Owners are also very responsive when things need to be done (like a new gas bottle for the grill that was replaced as quick as could be)! Bottom line: GREAT HOUSE and very special house!

Our family--17 year old son, daughter and son-in-law enjoyed 6 wonderful days in this home. Due to its great location we were able to go to Disneyland, Rose Bowl parade and Sea World. The house is beautiful. There were ample places for all of us to 'hang out'. We are looking forward to the opportunity to rent this lovely, comfortable home again. Jean Loven

Susan ~ Thank you to you and your family for the hours of endless enjoyment that we experienced at your home (as well as the added champagne). After 7 months in an overseas desert, we could not have asked for a more perfect setting to reunite USMC Marine husband/dad with 22-month-old son and wife. It was truly fabulous and ideal to experience normalcy -- making dinner in the kitchen, watching Cars on the big screen and hours of climbing and sliding in the scenic backyard. Thank you! Thank you! Susan - We did have a wonderful time at your home!! It's been a bit depressing coming back to the mid-90's and high humidity. Ugh! Not to mention going back to work.... :) Your house was perfect for us and just beautiful. I can't think of anything that would have made it easier or better. We were so comfortable and relaxed. The girls were in the pool almost constantly when we were there! They loved all the dress-up clothes and dolls. The light cleaning was no bother to us and it was nice to have a touch-up in the middle of the week although we would have been fine without it as well. We were at the beach that morning and so we didn't even see your housekeeper. We don't know what are plans are for next summer, but we would be very interested in staying at your house again if we get back to San Diego. Do you think you'll have it available next summer? Or maybe you don't know yet. Thanks again! Krista
