There is also a twin bed in an alcove on the main level with a window and a door for privacy.

Full bath with tub/shower and plenty of towels provided. Laundry room has a washer and dryer.

We can provide you with recommendations for hikes, activities and restaurants here in Estes Park, and we keep maps and brochures in the cabin for your reference. Please inquire if you need further information; we live here in Estes Park and are happy to share local information!

Why the Owner Chose Estes Park

This location has truly amazing mountain views of Long's Peak, Mt. Meeker, Twin Sisters and the Continental Divide. It is also surrounded by open space, bordered by National Park land, close to the Big Thompson River and provides excellent year-round opportunities for viewing wildlife right outside in the front yard, including herds of elk, deer, coyote, rabbit, badger, birds, and even the occasional bear. The proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park (less than 1 mile to the RMNP entrance) and downtown Estes Park (about a mile) make this a perfect mountain getaway for adventurous exploring or pampered relaxation. Our cabin makes a great base of operations for hiking and touring within RMNP and is also close to restaurants, golf, and other amusements and activities in the quaint village of Estes Park. We trust you will enjoy it as much as we do!

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

Excellent mountain views and privacy. Lots of opportunities for seeing wildlife (especially elk, sometimes in large herds) year-round. You can relax in front of a fire in the wood burning fireplace on the leather couches in the living room. BBQ on the Weber charcoal grill and dine at the wooden picnic table outside, or just kick back on the Adirondack chairs on the front deck and soak in the gorgeous views!

Owner's Map of Estes Park

We are an active family of four including 2 children (a boy 9 years old and a girl 6 years old). We love the grandeur and beauty of the mountains and the abundance of wildlife in this part of Colorado. We never get used to seeing the herds of elk, snow-capped mountains, streams full from the snow melt, wildflowers and aspens in all their seasonal colors. We love to share the natural beauty with visitors from nearby and from far away.

Pamela and Tim, We are so thankful for all of your time and suggestions. This cottage was PERFECT for us! When our two girls fist came into the house, their excitement was contagious. They never wanted to leave. This truly feels like a home and not a rental. Your touches made it so comfy and beautiful. We're looking forward to the next time we can stay here. In Gratitude, Matt and Dina Guldenfinger

First Snow of the Season!

Guest: The Saunders (-)
Date of Stay: 10/09/11 Review Submitted: 10/09/11

Dear Pamela & Tim, Thank you so much for allowing us to share your wonderful cabin. You weren't exaggerating when you described the "beautiful mountain views." It has been 10 years since my last visit to Estes Park and it was even better than I remembered. I was really looking forward to seeing lots of wildlife in RMNP and taking photos. We ended up seeing more elk, deer, and coyotes right here near town. Two coyotes actually walked right through the yard. Although we didn't plan for snow, it was very welcome coming from the 100 degree weather at home. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We even enjoyed a fire the night that it snowed. We appreciate your hospitality and hope to visit again next year in Estes Park!
