Location: Bluff City, East, Tennessee, USA (Between Bristol and Johnson City, Not far from Jonesborough)

Accommodations:  Mobile Home, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 7-9)

This is a lovely remodeled, comfortably furnished, home right in the middle of the Tri-Cities, Tri-State area. If you are in the area for the many fishing, baseball, soccer, or basketball tournaments, they are all just minutes away. Seven miles from Bristol Motor Speedway!

Fishermen: You'll be right in the middle of the great destinations of South Holston Lake, Boone Lake, and Watauga Lake. You'll be right in between two great trout streams as seen on ESPN, the South Holston and Watauga rivers. Also there are very many little known creeks that are full of trout.

White Water Rafting: It's available on the Watagua River but the Nolichucky River (about a 30 or 40 min. drive) is WAY better.

Jonesborough, home of The National Story Telling Festival is about 30 minutes away.
People from all over the world will be in attendance.

The Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray is about 20 minutes away. July 16-19 they are hosting the
37th BMW Motorcycle Owners of America International Rally.

If motorcycles are your sport, we have a nice garage to park and fine tune your bikes. You'll be just minutes away from US 421, aka "The Snake". Check out the "Country Store" in Shady Valley while your there, you'll love it. There are tons of back roads, gravel roads and mountains to explore as well. Hey, I ride a Dual Sport bike myself. Motocross fans and racers, you'll be about 20 minutes from Muddy Creek Raceway.

Mountain Bikes: It's about a 45 minute scenic drive to Damascus, Virginia. That's the home of the world famous "Virginia Creeper Trail". If you've not heard of it, look it up online, the place is awesome.

August Speed Week: 19th is the O'Reily 200 and Whelen Modified 150
20st is Family Race night in downtown Bristol
21st is Food City 250 and Qualifying
22nd is the Sharpie 500

Winter: About 45 minutes to Banner Elk, North Carolina and other ski destinations.


The NASCAR rates do not apply to the drag racing events at Bristol.

  • We spent a beautiful and relaxing vacation at this location. Everthing was so neat and clean and comfortable. There are 100's of places to go and see on a days trip form there. Tim and Tanya were wonderful in helping us. Great place if you have a number of bikes to secure.

  • The area was beautiful.. the house was very convenient to many places.There was plenty of room in the house for all of us, and it was very comfortable. We stayed at the house while at the CMA Rally in Gray. Tim and Tanya were very friendly and helpful. We'd stay there again when in Tenn.

  • What a great place to stay! Everything was very clean! The house is completely furnished, we had four people there, but there is plenty of room for more! The owners,Tanya & Tim are very friendly and helpful, and even included some special "welcome surprises" for the visit. We highly recommend this rental when in the Tri-city area!
