Pure Magic! You'll wake to the sound of church bells ringing from St. Mary's, ships horns as they depart from City Dock and horses hooves as they pull carriages through the charming historic streets of Annapolis.

This luxuriously decorated historic home was built in 1832 and has been fully renovated to bring out its original charm. Situated only one block from Main Street in downtown Annapolis, it is conveniently located to give you instant access to sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and bars. City Dock, at the bottom of the block, boasts commanding views of the Chesapeake, sail and motor boats of all sizes, and people watching galore!

The Maryland State Capital, Governors Mansion, Naval Academy and Navy-Marine Corp Stadium are all easily within walking distance...most within just five minutes. Baltimore (25 minutes) and Washington D.C. (45 minutes) also have a tremendous amount to offer during your time here - it's the perfect central location.

Original heart-of-pine wood floors are located throughout the home, graced by many beautiful rugs. The fully renovated gourmet kitchen makes cooking an absolute pleasure if you are so inclined, and don't forget to enjoy a glass of wine and perhaps a cigar as you sit by the fire-pit on the back patio. As winter approaches, cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace with a book from the fully stocked shelves located throughout the house. Entertaining is a pleasure in this home - the multi-room high-quality sound system gives the house a warm, comfortable atmosphere year-round.

If your vacation includes work, settle down at the computer in the office/library. It has recently installed high-speed fiber optic DSL, also available wirelessly if you prefer to use your own computer. The office has an operational gas fireplace and a leather recliner if you opt for a good book instead of work!

The home sleeps six comfortably in two queen beds and one full bed. The couch in the living room is also a very comfortable single bed alternative, and a queen-sized air mattress is available if necessary.

Free passes are provided for on-street parking, as well as local maps, nearby restaurant menus, and literature on local events and things to do.

  • We were three couples visiting Annapolis for a Navy football game, and this house was PERFECT for us! It is beautiful and comfortable, and the location is outstanding. We loved being able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely come back!

  • Three of my friends and I planned a few days in Annapolis and had the good fortune to find 160 Green Street. We pulled up to a perfectly beautiful historic home and could not believe it when we unlocked the door. It was far beyond any expectations that we had. It is absolutely charming from top to bottom and in such good condition for the age of the house. Every room is so beautifully appointed and the owner (Bobbi) has thought of everything you might need to make your visit comfortable. It was wonderful to be able to walk to everything and we took advantage of all the historic sights, resturants and shops and used the water taxi whenever we could. It was such fun.   • After a family reunion in Maryland, 7 of us decided to stay a few extra days and rent a place in Annapolis. My Father in-law is a graduate of the Naval academy so we had heard great things about the town. This house was a terrific find. It is in a perfect location. Quiet, quaint and safe. We had no idea how close it was to all of the shops, cafes, etc. The house itself was perfect. It is in great condition and has wonderful character. Our family spent each night in the sunken living room talking about our day, grilling out back, and even listening to my brother-in law play tunes on one of "the house" guitars. The home is very clean, and very comfortable. I would love to come back to Annapolis again, and would be disappointed if I couldn't stay in this house again. Bobbi (the owner) was wonderful to work with.

  • We agree with all the nice comments about this home. I would add that the home is on a one-way street and is unusually quiet for being so close to everything. I think I saw a sign that said no buses or trucks, so that obviously helps. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, very nice and responsive.

  • I highly suggest renting this home to anyone going to Annapolis! The location is perfect (a stone's throw to the Academy, restaurants and the waterfront), and the home is a beautiful historic row home built in 1832. The house maintains its charm despite the tasteful modern updates in the kitchen and baths. If you are looking to cook during your stay, this is the place for you. As an added perk, the owner is extremely helpful and easy to work with.

  • A group of seven of us stayed here in late January, and we had a WONDERFUL experience. The house is in an absolutely perfect location - a quiet side street that is easy walking distance from great shopping, fun restaurants, the water, and the Academy. The owner was incrediby attentive and hospitable both before and during our stay at the home. The outside of the house is adorable, and each room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is a delight, and there was ample common space for spending a cozy evening in. This is a perfect space for a group, family, or couple. On any future visits to Annapolis, I would not bother staying anywhere else.

We stayed in thie welcoming, lovely home for a few days and were impressed not only with its warm feeling and location, but to the attentiveness of its owner, who was as concerned about our having a wonderful time while we visited. It is a great location to access Baltimore and Washington, as well as the historic splendor of Annapolis. A great find!
