Pure Magic! You'll wake to the sound of church bells ringing from St. Mary's, ships horns as they depart from City Dock and horses hooves as they pull carriages through the charming historic streets of Annapolis.

This luxuriously decorated historic home was built in 1832 and has been fully renovated to bring out its original charm. Situated only one block from Main Street in downtown Annapolis, it is conveniently located to give you instant access to sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and bars, boat cruises, and Naval Academy activities. City Dock, at the bottom of the block, boasts commanding views of the Chesapeake, sail and motor boats of all sizes, and people watching galore! Its close proximity to St. Mary's, St. Anne's, First Presbyterian and the Naval Academy Chapel makes it ideal for wedding parties and guests.

The Maryland State Capital, Governors Mansion, Naval Academy and Navy-Marine Corp Stadium are all easily within walking distance...most within just five minutes. Baltimore (30 minutes) and Washington D.C. (45 minutes) also have a tremendous amount to offer during your time here - it's the perfect central location. METRO access (New Carrollton Station) is 20 minutes away and connects to AMTRAK as well.

Original heart-of-pine wood floors are located throughout the home, graced by many beautiful rugs. The fully renovated gourmet kitchen makes cooking and entertaining an absolute pleasure if you are so inclined, and don't forget to enjoy a glass of wine and perhaps a cigar as you sit by the fire-pit on the back patio. The local Farmers Market (at the bottom of the block) on Sundays will provide you with fresh, organic veggies, meats and breads from May through late-Nov. As winter approaches, cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace with a book from the fully stocked shelves located throughout the house. Enjoy Fall Festivals, Ghost Tours, Naval Academy football and of course, the world-famous Annapolis Boat Show. Entertaining is an absolute pleasure in this home - the multi-room high-quality sound system gives the house a warm, comfortable atmosphere year-round.

If your vacation includes work, settle down at the computer in the office/library. It has high-speed internet, also available wirelessly if you prefer to use your personal computer. The office has an operational gas fireplace for added ambiance.

The home sleeps six comfortably in two queen beds and one full bed. The couch in the living room is also a very comfortable single bed alternative, and a queen-sized air mattress is available upon request.

Free passes are provided for on-street parking, as well as local maps, and nearby restaurant menus. If you have any special requirements or requests, I'll do my best to facilitate!

Both the home and Annapolis have something incredible to offer...all year long. This home is ideal for family gatherings, wedding parties, "girls weekends", football season, Graduation, and sailing races! Use the link below to view upcoming events sponsored by the Historic Annapolis Foundation...it will help you take advantage of all the incredible events that Annapolis has to offer during your stay.

Please click on the calendar link on the right side of this page to check for availability during the next 1 year period. Feel free to inquire about events that are more than a year away too. I recommend that you to plan early...this house is always in high demand. Though if you're spontaneously planning a visit for this coming weekend, I welcome and encourage your adventurous spirit!! It's a no-brainer alternative to a hotel stay with all it has to offer.

Rented this house for New Year's Eve and enjoyed being able to attend First Night activities in Annapolis and then walk home. Wonderful house - very comfortable, beautifully restored historic home - just what we were looking for! Owner was helpful and eager to assist with questions, etc.

Weekend Stay for USNA Football game

Guest: Phlyer (San Rafael, CA)
Date of Stay: 09/01/11 Review Submitted: 10/04/11

This is a beautiful house that is very nicely appointed, clean and well maintained. Our party was 3 grown couples and the house was very comfortable for all of us. It is very convenient to the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis. The pictures on the website were very representative of house. The owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. We especially liked the spacious and well appointed kitchen and the family room with it's big screen TV.

Perfect for USNA PPW

Guest: USNA parent (Dallas, TX)
Date of Stay: 08/09/11 Review Submitted: 09/07/11

The house is beautiful, spacious, and within easy walking distance of everything except the grocery store. This home has everything you need and lots of thoughtful touches for guests. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions. We stayed for five days during USNA PPW 2011 and could easily meet our son and walk him back each evening. We especially enjoyed sitting around the firepit in the backyard and making s'mores!

Simply perfect!

Guest: Linda (West Chester,Pa)
Date of Stay: 05/06/11 Review Submitted: 06/06/11

This was the perfect home. My nephew got married at the Naval Academy this past May. Staying at Bobbi's house made the wedding so enjoyable. The location couldn't have been better and the accommodations were delightful. We were able to walk everywhere. My husband and I were able to spend some quality time with our older children in a cozy environment, instead of hotel room. Bobbi was so nice and friendly to deal with. We can't wait to go back. Thanks for making our stay so nice.

Home for the Weekend

Guest: Plebe Parent (Signal Mountain, TN)
Date of Stay: 02/18/11 Review Submitted: 02/24/11

We stayed in Bobbi's home for a long weekend in February for the Army vs. Navy basketball game. Our midshipman was able to stay with us and our family of 5 was very comfortable. The house is lovely, and we baked cookies, made pancakes, etc. It is well stocked and the owner is very helpful. As in all real estate the key word is LOCATION! This location is absolutely perfect for all of your downtown activities. We hardly used our rental car and even though it was chilly; we enjoyed walking everywhere.

Excellent location

Guest: MtnFam (Valle Crucis, NC)
Date of Stay: 11/11/10 Review Submitted: 11/19/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bobbi's beautifully restored historic home. So much better than a hotel----room for everyone to spread out, relax, watch TV, play games, etc. And the location cannot be beat. A couple of minutes to walk to the city dock. Really ideal. We are a family of 5, and I would recommend this location to other families!!

Comfy, Cozy, Perfect

Guest: Andrea M. (Farmington Hills, MI )
Date of Stay: 10/08/10 Review Submitted: 10/21/10

Warm, inviting, quaint, quiet and comfortable. Bobbi made us feel like we were not intruders in her home, but family invited for a weekend stay. The photos above really do not do her home justice. For those interested in staying near the Academy, this home is perfectly situated - far enough from the "bubble" yet close enough to get Mids back on time. Literally a 2 minute walk to city dock. All household items were well stocked. Our son asked for homemade muffins while we were staying....she even had mini muffin pans! We had such a nice experience and do hope to be staying at Green Street during future Annapolis visits. ~Andrea, Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Wedding in Annapolis

Guest: philanne (Atlanta, Ga. )
Date of Stay: 08/24/10 Review Submitted: 10/19/10

This is the perfect location, the perfect house and perfect accommodations for a family who hosting a destination wedding in Annapolis. The beauty of the residence, the ease of having extended family and friends visit, holding daughters, dates, and brides gowns, and the convenience of the spot was like having a place to call "home" while were were in Annapolis. I would certainly recommend this location again, and if ever in Annapolis, plan to rent from Bobbi once again.

Boat Show Getaway

Guest: JB (Yorktown, VA)
Date of Stay: 10/19/10 Review Submitted: 10/19/10

We work the Annapolis Powerboat Show and after 8 hours of standing on your feet, having a nice place to return for a little relaxation is a pleasure. Over 30 years, we have stayed everywhere, on boats, great hotels, other homes, and lesser hotels. By far this was the most pleasant stay of all. The house is perfect: comfortable, close to downtown, and offers every need. To be sure, we will rent again.
