Unbeatable Location

Guest: Troy T.
Date of Stay: 05/18/12 Review Submitted: 05/21/12

Our stay was excellent. The house was clean and as advertised. The location really is fantastic, one block from main street. Both of the second floor bedrooms are very nice and so is the third floor one though it is a little tiny. The only thing to note is that the appliances are old and can be a little difficult to get used to.

Girls Weekend

Guest: Chelsea (Sykesville, MD )
Date of Stay: 03/30/12 Review Submitted: 04/02/12

Just stayed at this beautiful home for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time! The location of this house is amazing and such a short walk to all the shops and downtown restaurants. The house itself provided everything we needed and had more than enough space. We had a party of 7 girls and did not feel cramped at all. Would definitely rent again!

Weekend Stay for USNA Football game

Guest: Phlyer (San Rafael, CA)
Date of Stay: 09/01/11 Review Submitted: 10/04/11

This is a beautiful house that is very nicely appointed, clean and well maintained. Our party was 3 grown couples and the house was very comfortable for all of us. It is very convenient to the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis. The pictures on the website were very representative of house. The owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. We especially liked the spacious and well appointed kitchen and the family room with it's big screen TV.

Perfect for USNA PPW

Guest: USNA parent (Dallas, TX)
Date of Stay: 08/09/11 Review Submitted: 09/07/11

The house is beautiful, spacious, and within easy walking distance of everything except the grocery store. This home has everything you need and lots of thoughtful touches for guests. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions. We stayed for five days during USNA PPW 2011 and could easily meet our son and walk him back each evening. We especially enjoyed sitting around the firepit in the backyard and making s'mores!

Simply perfect!

Guest: Linda (West Chester,Pa)

This was the perfect home. My nephew got married at the Naval Academy this past May. Staying at Bobbi's house made the wedding so enjoyable. The location couldn't have been better and the accommodations were delightful. We were able to walk everywhere. My husband and I were able to spend some quality time with our older children in a cozy environment, instead of hotel room. Bobbi was so nice and friendly to deal with. We can't wait to go back. Thanks for making our stay so nice.

Home for the Weekend

Guest: Plebe Parent (Signal Mountain, TN)
Date of Stay: 02/18/11 Review Submitted: 02/24/11

We stayed in Bobbi's home for a long weekend in February for the Army vs. Navy basketball game. Our midshipman was able to stay with us and our family of 5 was very comfortable. The house is lovely, and we baked cookies, made pancakes, etc. It is well stocked and the owner is very helpful. As in all real estate the key word is LOCATION! This location is absolutely perfect for all of your downtown activities. We hardly used our rental car and even though it was chilly; we enjoyed walking everywhere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bobbi's beautifully restored historic home. So much better than a hotel----room for everyone to spread out, relax, watch TV, play games, etc. And the location cannot be beat. A couple of minutes to walk to the city dock. Really ideal. We are a family of 5, and I would recommend this location to other families!!

Boat Show Getaway

Guest: JB (Yorktown, VA)
Date of Stay: 10/19/10 Review Submitted: 10/19/10

We work the Annapolis Powerboat Show and after 8 hours of standing on your feet, having a nice place to return for a little relaxation is a pleasure. Over 30 years, we have stayed everywhere, on boats, great hotels, other homes, and lesser hotels. By far this was the most pleasant stay of all. The house is perfect: comfortable, close to downtown, and offers every need. To be sure, we will rent again.

Comfy, Cozy, Perfect

Guest: Andrea M. (Farmington Hills, MI )
Date of Stay: 10/08/10 Review Submitted: 10/21/10

Warm, inviting, quaint, quiet and comfortable. Bobbi made us feel like we were not intruders in her home, but family invited for a weekend stay. The photos above really do not do her home justice. For those interested in staying near the Academy, this home is perfectly situated - far enough from the "bubble" yet close enough to get Mids back on time. Literally a 2 minute walk to city dock. All household items were well stocked. Our son asked for homemade muffins while we were staying....she even had mini muffin pans! We had such a nice experience and do hope to be staying at Green Street during future Annapolis visits. ~Andrea, Farmington Hills, Michigan.

This is the perfect location, the perfect house and perfect accommodations for a family who hosting a destination wedding in Annapolis. The beauty of the residence, the ease of having extended family and friends visit, holding daughters, dates, and brides gowns, and the convenience of the spot was like having a place to call "home" while were were in Annapolis. I would certainly recommend this location again, and if ever in Annapolis, plan to rent from Bobbi once again.

We planned a reunion for 6 siblings and Bobbi's home was perfect. It was close it an airport to accommodate folks living in 6 states. The carefully restored historic home from the 1830s was comfortable, warm & inviting but with tech toys to bring you back to 2010. The back yard was awesome. After walking around historic and the Naval Academy, we chilled out around the fire pit and laughed like we were were kids again. How great is that!

Amazing, A+++++++++++

Guest: Midwest Patriot (Elburn, IL)
Date of Stay: 08/01/10 Review Submitted: 08/17/10

We had the blessed opportunity to stay for a week in this beautiful historical home. The photos do NOT give it justice ~ it's even more beautiful! For a 175 year old home, it's in excellent shape (the original floors are amazing, along with all the great woodworking throughout) The owner made sure we had everything we needed ~ it was really great to have all linens/towels supplied for you (one less thing to pack for us), not to mention a washer/dryer available too! We loved being so close to the water/downtown area ~ such a relief to NOT have to worry about parking. Being so close to the 'main drag', you would think it would be noisy, but we all slept like babies; I don't think anyone noticed a thing :~) Annapolis is really a great town. It has all the modern amenities but with the added charm of the "old world" added in. Make sure to tour the capital building ~ lots of history there! We loved Chick & Ruth's Deli for their amazing sandwiches (they have quite a selection to choose from) and ice cream from Kilwin's (the kids made sure to stop there just about every chance they got). I would highly recommend this home. As a matter of fact, I wish I was back there now.

A perfect location for a surprise baby shower. In spite of its heart-of-downtown location the owner pinpointed convenient/ no-cost parking options for local guests. Our out-of-town guests loved their week-end stay in this charming and well equipped house and had historic Annapolis right at their door step. The owner was instantly responsive to all our questions and needs.

Perfect girls' weekend getaway!

Our group of 8 girlfriends escaped DC for a relaxing weekend getaway at this beautiful, charming historic house. We came seeking a cozy place that would let us enjoy long lazy meals, good books, and quality time with friends-- and the house was perfect for us! The location is wonderful-- it's in a very pretty, walkable neighborhood right next to lots of nice sites. And Bobbi is great too. If I anyone I knew was looking for somewhere to stay in historic Annapolis I would absolutely recommend this house!

Eight long-time friends stayed at Bobbi's house for a 3 day weekend. The visit was perfection. Bobbi does everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her attention to detail makes it easy for her guests to relax in her home. We wanted for nothing...from every piece of kitchen equipment needed to prepare an elaborate meal to suggestions for enjoying the lovely town of Annapolis. We would gladly stay at 160 Green Street again and again.

Three of my friends and I planned a few days in Annapolis and had the good fortune to find 160 Green Street. We pulled up to a perfectly beautiful historic home and could not believe it when we unlocked the door. It was far beyond any expectations that we had. It is absolutely charming from top to bottom and in such good condition for the age of the house. Every room is so beautifully appointed and the owner (Bobbi) has thought of everything you might need to make your visit comfortable. It was wonderful to be able to walk to everything and we took advantage of all the historic sights, resturants and shops and used the water taxi whenever we could. It was such fun. Thank you Bobbi for making our visit so very special and we will recommend your home to our families and close friends. Nancy Cunningham Malvern, Pennsylvania

After a family reunion in Maryland, 7 of us decided to stay a few extra days and rent a place in Annapolis. My Father in-law is a graduate of the Naval academy so we had heard great things about the town. This house was a terrific find. It is in a perfect location. Quiet, quaint and safe. We had no idea how close it was to all of the shops, cafes, etc. The house itself was perfect. It is in great condition and has wonderful character. Our family spent each night in the sunken living room talking about our day, grilling out back, and even listening to my brother-in law play tunes on one of "the house" guitars. The home is very clean, and very comfortable. I would love to come back to Annapolis again, and would be disappointed if I couldn't stay in this house again. Bobbi (the owner) was wonderful to work with.

We agree with all the nice comments about this home. I would add that the home is on a one-way street and is unusually quiet for being so close to everything. I think I saw a sign that said no buses or trucks, so that obviously helps. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, very nice and responsive.

I highly suggest renting this home to anyone going to Annapolis! The location is perfect (a stone's throw to the Academy, restaurants and the waterfront), and the home is a beautiful historic row home built in 1832. The house maintains its charm despite the tasteful modern updates in the kitchen and baths. If you are looking to cook during your stay, this is the place for you. As an added perk, the owner is extremely helpful and easy to work with.

A group of seven of us stayed here in late January, and we had a WONDERFUL experience. The house is in an absolutely perfect location - a quiet side street that is easy walking distance from great shopping, fun restaurants, the water, and the Academy. The owner was incrediby attentive and hospitable both before and during our stay at the home. The outside of the house is adorable, and each room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is a delight, and there was ample common space for spending a cozy evening in. This is a perfect space for a group, family, or couple. On any future visits to Annapolis, I would not bother staying anywhere else.

A group of colleagues and friends organized to visit the Washington, D.C. area during Inauguration week for that celebration. We stayed in thie welcoming, lovely home for a few days and were impressed not only with its warm feeling and location, but to the attentiveness of its owner, who was as concerned about our having a wonderful time while we visited. It is a great location to access Baltimore and Washington, as well as the historic splendor of Annapolis. A great find!

We stayed at this lovely home for 5 nights for a wedding & small family gathering. It was just perfect! We particularly loved the big gathering areas where we could linger and catch up with each other. The location is incredible as well. It's right in the center of old Annapolis and just around the corner from "Ego Alley", the marinas, "Chick & Ruths Delly", and more. A lovely place to take long walks. I would highly recommend it without reservation (but do get reservations!).

I rented this wonderful house for my wedding during the first week of May. The pictures do not do it justice! It is quite spacious and is beauitfully decorated. Perfect location for everything downtown. It fit all my 3 bridesmaids and their guests, plus a few roundy groomsmen very comfortably. It is one block from St Mary's Church. I actually got dressed at the house and walked to the church. It was so close to the reception at the Fleet Reserve Club on Ego Alley that my bridesmaids snuck out to decorate my room without me noticing. We even took wedding pictures in the backyard and up and down the street because it was so pretty. Thank you for such a memorable place to have our wedding weekend!

We rented this wonderful house for our son's graduation from the US Naval Academy. I am a "foodie" and the kitchen is great - Viking stove, lots of space. There are 3 full bedrooms, cable tv, wireless computer connection, and a great backyard/patio for our family gatherings. It is a one block walk to the Dock, shopping, and restaurants. It has central air - unusual in the historical district. Everything is updated - kitchen and baths. If the owner ever wants to sell, we would make and offer!
