Map & Owner's Profile
Great Ocean View, Short Walk to Pacific Beach S.P., Wifi, Hdtv
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Shores
When I was a boy, my family stayed several times at the Sandpiper Resort (sadly decayed). I would build sand castles, collect sand dollars, and wander the beaches from Copalis Rock to Joe Creek. Looking across Joe Creek to the town of Pacific Beach, I always wondered why my family couldn't own one of those beach houses. It fulfilled a childhood dream when I could purchase one for myself.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our house has a unique combination of luxury interior with abundant amenities and excellent location: a fine ocean view and within walking distance to the town, restaurants, and two routes to the beach within half a mile.

We live in Bellevue, WA. I was born in Kansas, my wife in Taiwan, and we met here in the middle. We have three boys, including teenage twins and a little brother 8 1/2 years younger. I'm a programmer at Ascentis Corporation, where we make human resources and payroll software. We've traveled widely from Europe to Taiwan - often on home exchanges.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving. The weather was wonderful and what a nice surprise - the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking our turkey dinner. My sisters and their families from Portland joined our family for dinner (a total of 14) and there was even room at the table for all. This is an absolutely great house in a lovely quiet little town. Loved all of the books and games also. We'll be back. Thanks Bob!

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and our visit. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the spacious great room layout with ample dining and gaming space for our family. It was convenient to be in town and the walk to the beach was short. The view from the upstairs is fabulous! The owner was prompt and helpful in responding to our inquiry and went the extra mile to facilitate the return of an item we inadvertently left behind. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a wonderful weekend recently in this house. Our group consisted of one family with three children and two other couples. The two couples were very comfortable in the downstairs bedrooms with a private bathroom, leaving the main floor to the family. During the day, the children were kept busy with all the puzzles and games leaving the adults free to converse, cook, etc. The downtown area is very quaint and the Owner of the Kite Shop is quite a character who could answer any question we had about the town's history and current makeup. A must stop for any tourist. This property was the cleanest and nicest one our group has stayed in and we have visited this area at least once in each of the last three years. We will stay here again and would highly recommend it to our friends.
Owner response:"This property was the cleanest..." - We love our cleaning lady, Becky. She's our eyes and ears at the coast, making it easy to manage from a distance.

Had a great weekend stay. The house was great and accomadated 6 people comfortably. The kitchen was open, modern and allowed our group to eat in both nights. The house has a great layout with modern amenities including wi-fi and cable for a nice weekend or week at the beach, also kudos to Bob for his good taste in movies.Highly recommended!

This is our 2nd trip for a group of friends, and it doesn't get any better than this. The place is exactly how the photos and owner describes it plus more. Having a fully stocked kitchen and house is defintely a plus. All you need to bring is food and beverage and be ready to party or relax. There are groceries, SBC coffee shop, restaurants and bars within walking distance and of course the beach. If you want more activities, it's a short 20 minute drive south to Ocean Shores. My friends and I are already planning a summer trip. This is a great deal and the price is pretty amazing as well. Be sure to try the burgers at Falcon's Nest or try your hand at Karaoke at the Seagate.

My extended family just stayed at Bob's Beach House for a razor clam digging weekend. We had an excellent time. The house is beautiful, very clean, and was comfortable for our large group (6 adults & 4 kids). There were lots of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. The house is an easy walk to town or the beach. We dug razor clams just north of town and got lots of BIG clams. It was a really fun weekend and we hope to go back again someday.

GREAT PLACE! We loved it. It was a great impromptu getaway for me and my fiance. We took long walks on the beach, enjoyed a nice sunny day in January, curled up and watched movies at night and spent a lot of time reading and relaxing and enjoying the view from the house. We also like that the house is in Pacific Beach which has a few amenities. We were able to go grab a bite to eat or get a late night snack if we wanted to. It's a beautiful house, a great place to stay and perfect for a quick get-away as it is only 2 1/2 hours from Renton. We'll be back and thank you. We really enjoyed it!

Wonderful stay at Bob's Pacific Beach house. We were a group of five ladies and one infant and had more than enough room. Great kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils you'll need, big comfy beds, lots of extra bedding, towels, and toiletries in case you forgot something. Very comfortable sitting area; spent many hours reading curled up with their house blankets enjoying the view over the deck. We made use of the well-stocked dvd library, games, and books to round out our girls weekend and were not disappointed. The cute little town is a short five minute walk and their is a cute coffee/gift shop that is not to be missed. Had a lovely time strolling the beach at low tide. Would highly recommend!
