Kaaawa Beach - Oahu, Hawaii Vacation Rental Home Aloha mai kakou! When we visit our second home, we always feel like we've returned to a slice of heaven--and we're sure you will too. Spectacular views of the Ko'olau Mountains and only a short 1-2 minute walk to gorgeous white sand beaches. Just the way Hawai'i was meant to be. The really nice thing about Ka'a'awa (Ka-ah-ah-va) on the windward side of O'ahu is the peacefulness, lack of crowds and natural beauty. You can enjoy our white sand beaches without fighting your way through crowds. The water is a gorgeous blue and there's a natural reef several hundred yards off the coast that keep the waves from being too big and dangerous near the shore. Our three bedroom, two bath home has been completely remodeled and tastefully decorated in a Hawaiian hula theme. New wood floors in front, nice new carpet in bedrooms. Brand new appliances, counters and cabinets. Bathrooms are done in Italian marble. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and two full beds in the other two bedrooms. Additionally, have a full-size futon couch in the living room and two fold up mattresses for keiki. Outside, the property is surrounded by lush tropical foliage, providing a nice secluded feeling at the house. Our daughter's favorite is the beautiful, fragrant plumeria tree in the backyard that blooms pretty white and yellow flowers. This is a great place for families or couples, as well as wedding parties. Plus it's a great value! There are several other rental homes in Ka'a'awa which are right on or across from the beach. These properties are quite nice, but they also command much higher rental costs. When you stay at our place, you save quite a bit of money and you are also a block off the main highway, which means more peace and privacy. Come and stay at Pono Loa... peaceful, relaxing, tropical and clean. Conveniently located: * In the Ka'a'awa Valley where Jurassic Park was filmed * The Polynesian Cultural Center is about 10-15 minutes away * The world famous North Shore is about 20-25 minutes away * Honolulu airport is about 30-40 minutes away * Waikiki is only 40-45 minutes away If you have any questions about our wonderful vacation rental or about Hawai'i in general, don’t hesitate to ask.
