Be forewarned - you are going to fall in love with Salty Dog, and leaving will be a hard trick to learn. The scored concrete floors are a modern twist, as are the tropical shades that greet you on the walls. Butter suede couches just beg you to relax, while contemporary fixtures and furnishings let you know you are inhabiting a work of art.
Arched doorways, modern appliances and a large dining room are just a few of the attractions of the living areas. Simple lines and gorgeous bedding combine to make each of four bedrooms a welcoming haven for those lucky enough to reside here awhile. Beautiful tile floors and spacious bathrooms ensure plenty of room for a large group. This place must be reserved to be fully appreciated. Don’t forget to plan some poolside fun in your privately fenced back yard.

My husband and I love the beach!!!!! We both grew up in coastal towns and living in Atlanta missed the Ocean terribly, so after getting married decided to build a beach house. We had fallen in love with Destin's beaches so it was a clear choise, we started construction in late 2004 and were ready to enjoy our 1st summer in 2005.
Since then, we have had wonderful times with friends and family at our Salty Dog House!!!!!
And have had the pleasure of sharing it with some great families through the VRBO listing, it is great to have the same families come back summer after summer!!!

The Salty Dog is the best rental house I have stayed in. The decor is outstanding; the bright colors when you walk in instantly make you feel like you're on vacation. There's plenty of room for a large group and the luxury of having a private fenced in pool can't be beat!!! The hardest part is having to leave!

We had a wonderful stay this year at the Salty Dog. The house was decorated with such a fun flair. The kitchen such a efficient layout. It was nice to have all the lovely utensils to make cooking a pleasure. We found the house very comfortable. We certainly will be down there again. It was also nice to have a pool right in the backyard. My family always enjoys the beach and later the pool. Its always nice to stay in a new house. Each room was decorated so tastefully. We can't wait to come back.

We have stayed at this house three times. It has been a very pleasant experience each time and the house is just amazing. So much room and beautiful decor and a wonderful pool out back. The walk to the beach is also very nice as you walk through the neighborhood and catch a glance of the beautiful homes on the way. We would definately recommend this house to anyone wanting a great vacation.
